Hi everybody! This is Week 4 of the Inky Paws Challenge! It is a Color Challenge. The colors are Pool Blue, Tangerine, Sunny Yellow, and White. You have until Friday, July 31st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
To start this card I picked out the sun and clouds paper I wanted to use for the background from the Summertime Paper Pad. I then used the A2 Card Layout 2 Die to cut out the bright yellow frame.
Next, I stamped this beautiful image of the kitties in the flower pot, along with the other small images, from Newton's Blooms Stamp Set. I colored all of the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.
I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Blooms Stamp Set, onto bright yellow cardstock with brown pigment ink. I clear heat embossed for some shine and fussy cut around the sentiment.
I assembled my card using bright yellow cardstock for the base, and popped up the images (except for the grass) and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card I added some glitter, glossy accents on the kitties noses, and a few sparkling sequins!
