Hi everyone! This is Week 3 of the Inky Paws Challenge! It is a Color Challenge. The colors are Pool Blue, Tangerine, Sunny Yellow, and White. You have until Friday, July 31st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
To start this card I picked out the papers I wanted to use for the background from the Coffee Shop Paper Pad and cut them using the Card Layout 5 Die. I then used the same die to cut out the yellow frame.
Next, I stamped this super cute image of Newton with his books from Newton's Reading List Stamp Set. I colored the image with copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating die set.
I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Reading List Stamp Set, directly onto the front of the book with black pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!
I assembled my card using blue cardstock for the base, and popped up the image with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card I added some glitter, glossy accents, and a few sparkling sequins! Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Color Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products. Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Hope to see you there!
