Inky Paws Challenge #190 - Love Theme Reminder Post

 Hi everybody!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #190 - Love Theme.  You have until Friday, February 3rd to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I stamped this super cute image of Newton with his girlfriend from the Newton's Sweetheart Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

I then used the Heart Frames Die Set to cut out the red heart, and the Frames Squared Die Set to cut out the patterned paper from the Love and Meows Paper Pad.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Sweetheart Stamp Set, onto red cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then fussy cut the sentiment.  

I assembled my card, die cutting red cardstock for the base using the Frames Squared Die Set.  I adhered the layers together, and used foam tape to pop up the image and sentiment for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glossy accents, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a Love Theme project using your Newton's Nook Designs products!  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

Flying by to Say Happy Birthday

  Hi everyone!  I'm up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today sharing this birthday card I created using the Little Lady Stamp Set and Falling Leaves Spotlight Stencil. 

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock and used the Falling Leaves Spotlight Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn.  I then splattered the background with gold watercolor paint and set it aside to dry.

I stamped out these super cute ladybugs from the Little Lady Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set. 

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Little Lady Stamp Set, directly onto the background in black pigment ink, and clear heat embossed for some shine!

I assembled my card using green cardstock for the base, and foam tape to pop up the images for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #190 - Love Theme

 Hi everyone!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #190 - Love Theme.  You have until Friday, February 3rd to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock using the large postage stamp die from the Framework Die Set.  I then used the heart and sentiment stamps from the Candy Heart Stamp Set to create the background.  It is a little difficult to see in the pictures because I wanted a subtle background so I used a very light gray ink.  

Next, I stamped out the adorable cat and dog robot images from the Love Bots Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.  I then cut out a stitched red heart using the Heart Frames Die Set.  

I used a small banner die from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set to cut out a gray sentiment banner.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Love Bots Stamp Set, and white heat embossed. 

I assembled my card using red cardstock for the base, and foam tape to pop up the images and sentiment banner for some dimension!

Valentine Cupcake

   Hi everybody!  I'm up on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog today sharing a card I created featuring the new Sweet Wishes Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop, and the new You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.

 

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock with the second largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I used the Valentine Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Saltwater Taffy and Candied Apple to create a pink and red background!  I then splattered the background with gold watercolor paint and set it aside to dry.

I stamped out this gorgeous cupcake image from the Sweet Wishes Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.  

I assembled my card using red cardstock for the base, and foam tape to pop up the image for some dimension!

I started this card by stamping this super cute image of the just married couple driving away together from the Destination Love Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.  

I then die cut the red scalloped heart using the Heart Frames Die Set, and chose which papers I wanted to use from the Love and Meows Paper Pad.  To cut the banners I used a fishtail die from the Frames and Flags Die Set.  

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Destination Love Stamp Set, directly onto the heart and white heat embossed.  

I assembled my card, adhering the layers together, and using foam tape to pop up the heart and image for some dimension!

A Little Treat for Someone Sweet

  Hi everyone!  I'm up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today with this Valentine card I created using the Purrfectly Spooky and Sweet Cupcakes Stamp Sets!

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock to mini slimline size.  I used the Rays of Sunshine Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Saltwater Taffy and Candied Apple.  I then splattered the background with gold watercolor paint and set it aside to dry.  

I stamped out the kitty from the Purrfectly Spooky Stamp Set, and the cupcake and chocolates from the Sweet Cupcakes Stamp Set.  I colored all of the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die sets.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Sweet Cupcakes Stamp Set, on red cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then fussy cut around the sentiment.

I assembled my card using red cardstock for the base, and foam tape to pop up the sentiment, cupcake, and kitty paws for some dimension!

For my Stud Puffin

 Hi everyone!  I'm up on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog today sharing a card I created featuring the super cute Love Puffin Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop, and the awesome new You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock with the second largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I then used the Corner Mandala Stencil (retired) with Distress Oxide Inks Salvaged Patina, Tumbled Glass, and Salty Ocean to create a gorgeous teal and blue background!

I stamped out this adorable puffin image from the Love Puffin Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.  

Next, I die cut a teal banner using the You've Been Framed Die Set.  I stamped the sentiment from the Love Puffin Stamp Set and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card using teal cardstock for the base.  I used foam tape to pop up the image and sentiment banner for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added white gel pen accents, glitter, glossy accents, and a few sparkling sequins!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

TRHD February Release Inspiration Hop - Day 2

  Hi everybody!  Today is Day 2 of The Rabbit Hole Designs February Release Inspiration Hop and it is featuring the new and gorgeous Sweet Wishes Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop, along with the brand new You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock with the second largest die from the new You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I then used the Mid-Century Modern #1 Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Weathered Wood to create light background. 

Next, I stamped out these super cute lollipop images from the new Sweet Wishes Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop.  I colored the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

I prepped a piece of gray cardstock with the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool, stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment, then fussy cut it out.

I assembled my card using gray cardstock for the base, and foam tape to pop up the images and sentiment for some dimension!

 Hi everyone!  Today is Day 1 of The Rabbit Hole Designs February Release Inspiration Hop and it is featuring the new and super cute Love Puffin Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop, along with the brand new You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock with the second largest die from the new You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I then used the Build Your Garden Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Salvaged Patina, Kitsch Flamingo, and Shaded Lilac.  I splattered the background with silver watercolor paint and set it aside to dry.

Next, I stamped out this absolutely gorgeous image of the puffin holding flowers behind his back from the new Love Puffin Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop.  I colored the image with copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

I used a banner die from the You've Been Framed Die Set to cut out a teal sentiment banner.  I prepped the banner with the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool, stamped the sentiment, which is from the Love Puffin Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card using teal cardstock for the base, and foam tape to pop up the image and sentiment banner for some dimension!
