Hi everybody! This is Week 2 of the Inky Paws Challenge! It is a Falloween Theme Challenge. You have until Friday, September 25th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
To start this card I picked out the paper I wanted to use for the background from the Autumn Paper Pad and cut it using the large scalloped rectangle die in the Frames and Flags Die Set.
Next, I stamped out this super cute kitty and bushel basket from the Fall Harvest Stamp Set. I colored the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set. I also stamped the beautiful Autumn Oval, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the largest scalloped oval from the Oval Frames Die Set.
I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Autumn Oval, in the center with brown pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!
I assembled my card using dark kraft cardstock for the base and popped up the kitty and bushel basket with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, a little bit of glitter, glossy accents to the kitties' nose, and a few sparkling sequins!
