Inky Paws Challenge #217 - Lucky Green Theme Reminder Post

 Hi everyone!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #217 - Lucky Green Theme.  You have until Friday, March 1st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock using the frame die from the Framework Die Set.  I then used the same die to cut green glitter cardstock to create a sparkling frame to use around my image.  I then stamped the smaller images, and sentiment, from the Lucky Dog Stamp Set on the white cardstock to create a festive background!

Next, I stamped this super cute puppy image and hat from the Lucky Dog Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers, then cut them out using the coordinating die set.

I assembled my card using a green glitter cardbase.  I used the large postage stamp die from the Framework Die Set to cut out the paw print pattern paper from A Cat's Life Paper Pad.  I popped up the green glitter frame and pup with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, a little bit of glitter, and a few green sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a Lucky Green Theme project using your Newton's Nook Designs products!  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

You Are Eggceptional

  Hi everyone!  I'm up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today sharing this card I created using the Eggceptional Stamp and Die Set!

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock and used the Radiant Burst Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Worn Lipstick.  Leaving the stencil in place, I went over it with glitter paste to create a sparkling background!

Next, I stamped out these gorgeous eggs from the Eggceptional Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the sentiment on green cardstock and white heat embossed.  I used it's coordinating die to cut it out.  

I assembled my card using green cardstock for the base.  I popped up the images and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #217 - Lucky Green Theme

 Hi everyone!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #217 - Lucky Green Theme.  You have until Friday, March 1st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock using the scalloped frame die from the Frames and Flags Die Set.  I then used the Starfield Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Mowed Lawn.  Leaving the stencil in place, I went over it with glitter paste to create a sparkling green background!

I then stamped this super cute image of Newton from Newton's Pot of Gold Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers then fussy cut it out.

Next, I used the stitched fishtail banner die from the Banner Trio Die Set to cut out a green sentiment banner.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Pot of Gold Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card using a green cardbase.  I adhered the image and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #216 - Sketch Challenge Reminder Post

  Hi everybody!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #216 - Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, February 16th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  

I flipped the Sketch for this card!  To start, I die cut the large fishtail banner from smooth white cardstock.  I used the Bokeh Balloons Stencil Set with Distress Oxide Inks Salty Ocean and Mowed Lawn to create the background!

Next, I stamped out this super cute image from Newton's Birthday Trio Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

The sentiment is already included in the image, so I colored the speech bubbles with a little light gray to create dimension.  

I assembled my card, which measures 6.5" x 5", using a blue cardbase.  The green gift pattern paper is from the Birthday Party Paper Pad and measures 6"x 4.5".  The blue and green paw print pattern paper is from A Cat's Life Paper Pad and measures 2" x 4.5".  I adhered the trio of kitties to the balloon background with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, glossy accents on their cute little noses, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Sketch Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

  Hi everyone!  I'm up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today sharing this card I created using the Mandala Stamp Set!  This card is so easy to make, and comes out so beautifully!

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock, stamped the mandala image, and gold heat embossed.

I blended on Distress Oxide Inks Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Prize Ribbon, and Black Soot.  I then wiped the ink off of the embossed image.  I splattered gold watercolor paint onto the panel and set it aside to dry.

Next, I die cut a black sentiment banner, stamped the sentiment, which is from the Mandala Stamp Set, and gold heat embossed.

I assembled my card using black cardstock for the base, and adhered the sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #216 - Sketch Challenge

 Hi everybody!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #216 - Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, February 16th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  

To start this card I die cut the large fishtail banner from smooth white cardstock.  I used the Quatrefoil Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Salvaged Patina to create the wallpaper, and blended on Weathered Wood to create the floor.  

Next, I stamped this image of Newton from the Naughty Newton Stamp Set, colored him with copic markers, and cut him out using the coordinating die set.  I stamped the table and vase images from the Cozy Home Stamp Set, colored them, and cut them out with their coordinating die set.  The mouse is from the Welcome New Cat Stamp Set which has a coordinating die set as well!

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Naughty Newton Stamp Set, directly onto the background in black pigment ink.  

I assembled my card, measuring 6.5" x 5", using a gray cardbase.  The blue paw print pattern paper is from A Cat's Life Paper Pad and measures 6" x 4.5".  The mouse pattern paper is from the same paper pad and measures 2"x 4.5".  I adhered Newton to the card with foam tape for some dimension, and before adhering the other images, I cut the vase into pieces to make it look like it broke when it hit the floor!
