Happy Halloween!

 Happy Halloween everyone!  I'm up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today with this card I created using the Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes Stamp Set.

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock to mini slimline size and blended on Weathered Wood Distress Oxide Ink.  I then used the Tangled Web Stencil with Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink, splattered the background with black paint, and set is aside to dry.

I stamped out these super cute cupcake images from the Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes Stamp Set.  I colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I stamped the sentiment onto black cardstock and white heat embossed.  I die cut the sentiment using the Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes Die Set.  

I assembled my card using black cardstock for the base, and popped up the images and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, glossy accents, and a few sequins from the Hocus Pocus Sequin Mix.  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!  Be sure to visit the Pawsome Stamps online shop to pick up your favorite new stamp sets today!

Inky Paws Challenge #210 - Sketch Challenge

 Hi everybody!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #210 - Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, November 10th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  I had to squeeze in one last Halloween Card this year!

I started this card by picking out all of the papers I wanted to use and cutting them to size.  The black cardbase is 5" x 7", the purple cardstock is 4.5" x 6.5", the candy patterned paper is from the Halloween Meows Paper Pad and measures 1.5" x 5.5", the polka dot paper is from the Halloween Woofs Paper Pad and measures 1.25" x 3.5", and the spider patterned paper is also from the Halloween Meows Paper Pad and measures 2.75" x 3.75".

Next, I stamped out this adorable image from the Happy Howl-oween Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

For the sentiment, I die cut a stitched circle from black cardstock using a die from the Circle Frames Die Set.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Happy Howl-oween Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card adhering all of the layers together, and popped up the image and sentiment circle with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, glossy accents on their cute little noses, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Sketch Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

Merry & Bright

  Hi everybody!  I'm up on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog today sharing this card I created using the beautiful Merry & Bright Stamp Set illustrated by Tatsiana Zayats.

I started this card by die cutting a piece of white cardstock with the largest die in the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.

I then stamped this absolutely gorgeous image from the Merry & Bright Stamp Set directly onto the cardstock, and colored it with copic markers.

Next, I stamped the sentiment directly onto the cardstock as well, with black pigment ink, and clear heat embossed for some shine!

I assembled my card using red glitter cardstock for the base!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, and red glitter to the berries!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Inky Paws Challenge #209 - Color Challenge Reminder Post

  Hi everybody!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #209 - Color Challenge.  The colors are Rusty Orange, Honey Yellow, Cornflower Blue, and Caramel Brown.  You have until Friday, October 27th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  

I started this card by die cutting a piece of kraft paper with the scalloped frame die from the Slimline Frames and Portholes Die Set.  I wanted to make a mini slimline card, so using the same die, I cut one end shorter to make the mini slimline size!  I then used the Petite Paw Prints Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Vintage Photo to create the background!

Next, I stamped this adorable image of Newton on a stack of books, and the glasses, from the All Booked Up Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

For the sentiment, I used the Newton's Book Club Die Set.  I die cut the sentiment three times from blue cardstock, and adhered them together to create some dimension!

I assembled my card using blue cardstock for the base, and popped up the images with foam tape.

Fall is my Second Favorite F-word

   Hi everyone!  I'm up on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog today sharing this card I created featuring the adorable Fall Foxes Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop.

I started this card by die cutting a piece of kraft cardstock with the largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I then used the smallest frame die from the same set to die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock.  I used the Falling Leaves Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Mustard Seed and Candied Apple to create the background on the kraft cardstock.

Next, I stamped this super cute image of the fox, and a few leaves, from the Fall Foxes Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Fall Foxes Stamp Set, directly onto the white cardstock in brown pigment ink.  I clear heat embossed for some shine! 

I assembled my card, adhering the layers together, and using brown cardstock underneath the base so you can see it through the die cut frame.   I popped up the image with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glossy accents on the fox's nose, and a few Clear Sparkle Enamel Dots!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Inky Paws Challenge #209 - Color Challenge

Using a banner die from the Frames and Flags Die Set, I cut out a blue sentiment banner.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Paw-tumn Newton Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card using blue cardstock for the base.  I popped up the images and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

Pawsome Stamps Sneak Peek Day 2 - Santa Faces

  Hi everyone!  I'm up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today for Sneak Peek Day 2 with the new Santa Faces Stamp Set!

To start this card I die cut a piece of dark blue cardstock, splattered it with silver watercolor paint, and set is aside to dry. 

Next, I stamped out all of the adorable Santa faces in the set, colored them with copic markers, and fussy cut them out.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Santa Faces Stamp Set, on dark blue cardstock and silver heat embossed.  I then fussy cut around the sentiment as well.

I assembled my card using silver glitter cardstock for the base, then adhered the images and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

Adventure is Calling

  Hi everyone!  I'm up on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog today sharing this card I created featuring the Falling Leaves Stamp and Stencil illustrated by Agota Pop.  

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock with the second largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I used the Falling Leaves Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Old Paper, Spiced Marmalade, and Vintage Photo to create a gorgeous color on the leaves.  I then stamped over the stenciled leaves in brown pigment ink with the Falling Leaves Stamp, and clear heat embossed.  

I used the Adventure - Scripty Word with Shadow Layer Dies to create the sentiment.  I die cut "Adventure" from gold glitter cardstock, and used brown cardstock for the shadow.  Next, I die cut a brown sentiment banner using the You've Been Framed Die Set.  I stamped "is calling" from the Adventure - Scripty Stamp Set and gold heat embossed.

I assembled my card using brown cardstock for base, and adhered the sentiment with foam tape for some dimension.  

For finishing touches on this card I added a few Clear Sparkle Enamel Dots!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Inky Paws Challenge #208 - Halloween Theme Reminder Post

  Hi everyone!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #208 - Halloween Theme.  You have until Friday, October 13th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! 

I started this card by die cutting this super cute candy patterned paper from the Halloween Woofs Paper Pad with the largest postage stamp die from the Framework Die Set.

I then stamped out this adorable image from the Halloween Trio Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.  The trick-or-treat pumpkin pail is from the Count Newton Stamp Set. 

Next, I used the stitched fishtail banner die from the Banner Trio Die Set to cut out a purple sentiment banner.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Halloween Trio Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card using purple cardstock for the base, and popped up the images and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #208 - Halloween Theme

 Hi everyone!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #208 - Halloween Theme.  You have until Friday, October 13th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! 

I started this card by stamping the Spiderweb Oval on black cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then used the largest scalloped frame die in the Oval Frames Die Set to cut it out.  

I stamped out one of my favorite images, Witchy Newton, and colored it with copic markers.  I then die cut the image using the coordinating die set.

Next, I cut out a purple sentiment banner using a die from the Banner Trio Die Set.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Spooky Roundabout, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card, die cutting a purple cardbase using the largest die from the Oval Frames Die Set.  I popped up the image and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension, and added a couple of sparkling bats using the bat dies from the Halloween Trio Die Set.

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, glossy accents on Newton's nose, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a Halloween Theme project using your Newton's Nook Designs products!  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!
