Inky Paws Challenge #239 - Color Challenge Week 4

 Hi everybody!  This is Week 4 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Color Challenge.  The colors are Dusty Violet, Spring Green, Sunshine Yellow, and Cocoa Brown.  You have until Friday, May 2nd to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  

To start this card I picked out the yellow striped paper for my background from the Pastel Basics Paper Pad.  Then, I die cut it using the large postage edged die from the Framework Die Set.

I stamped out this beautiful floral image from the Spring Blooms Oval.  I colored the image with copic markers and cut it out using the largest scalloped oval die from the Oval Frames Die Set.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Spring Blooms Oval, in the center with black pigment ink, and clear heat embossed for some shine!

I assembled my card using kraft paper for the base, and popped up the oval with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card, I added accents with a white gel pen, a few sparkling sequins, and a little purple bow!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Color Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

Inky Paws Challenge #239 - Color Challenge Week 3

 Hi everyone!  This is Week 3 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Color Challenge.  The colors are Dusty Violet, Spring Green, Sunshine Yellow, and Cocoa Brown.  You have until Friday, May 2nd to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  

To start this card I used Distress Oxide Inks Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn with the Trailing Leaves Stencil on smooth white cardstock.  I then cut out the stenciling with the A2 Card Layout 2 Die to create the background.  

Next, I stamped out these gorgeous images from the Birdhouse Greetings Stamp Set.  I colored them with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

I then stamped the sentiment, which is from the Birdhouse Greetings Stamp Set, onto green cardstock and white heat embossed.  I fussy cut around the sentiment.

I assembled my card using green cardstock for the base and popped up the images with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #239 - Color Challenge Week 2

 Hi everyone!  This is Week 2 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Color Challenge.  The colors are Dusty Violet, Spring Green, Sunshine Yellow, and Cocoa Brown.  You have until Friday, May 2nd to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  

To start this card I chose the green plaid paper for my background from the Pastel Basics Paper Pad.  I then die cut it, and a piece of purple cardstock, using the Fractured Card Layout Die.  

I then stamped out this adorable bunny from the Hop Into Spring Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

  

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Hop Into Spring Stamp Set, onto purple cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then fussy cut around the sentiment.

I assembled my card using purple cardstock for the base and popped up the image with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #239 - Color Challenge Week 1

 Hi everybody!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  It is a Color Challenge.  The colors are Dusty Violet, Spring Green, Sunshine Yellow, and Cocoa Brown.  You have until Friday, May 2nd to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock using the zig zag frame from the Frames and Tags Die Set.  I then used the Petite Flowers Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed to create the background.  Next, I cut a piece of kraft paper using the frame with 3 windows die from the same die set.

I then stamped out these gorgeous images from the Hummingbird Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I cut out a small kraft tag using a die from the Frames and Tags Die Set.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Hummingbird Stamp Set, in brown pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine.  

I assembled my card using kraft paper for the base and popped up the windows and hummingbird with foam tape for some dimension!
