TRHD September Release Inspiration Hop - Day 2

  Hi everybody!  Today is Day 2 of The Rabbit Hole Designs September Release Inspiration Hop and it is featuring the new and so beautiful Merry & Bright 4x4 Stamp Set illustrated by Tatsiana Zayats.

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock and prepped it with the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool.  I then stamped the gorgeous wreath and sentiment from the Merry & Bright 4x4 Stamp Set, and gold heat embossed.

I colored the wreath using my zig markers, then assembled my card using red cardstock for the base.

For finishing touches on this card I added white gel pen accents and few gold confetti pieces!  I hope you are enjoying the hop today!  Thank you for joining us!

TRHD September Release Inspiration Hop - Day 1

 Hi everyone!  I'm so excited to be a part of The Rabbit Hole Designs New Release Team!  Today is Day 1 of the September Release Inspiration Hop and it is featuring the new and gorgeous Succulent Life 4x6 Stamp Set illustrated by Tatsiana Zayats.

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock and used the Cat Eye Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Salvaged Patina and Shaded Lilac to create the background. 

Next, I stamped this stunning image from the Succulent Life 4x6 Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and fussy cut it out.  

I die cut a teal sentiment banner, prepped the banner with the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool, stamped, and white heat embossed the sentiments.  

I assembled my card using teal cardstock for the base, and popped up the image and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension! 

For finishing touches on this card I added white gel pen accents and few sparkling sequins!  I hope you are enjoying the hop today!  Thank you for joining us!

Halloween Cupcake

  Hi All!  I am up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today with a Halloween card I created using the new Spooktacular Cupcakes Stamp Set and Geometric Chevron Stencil.

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock and blending on Distress Oxide Inks Weathered Wood and Black Soot.  I then splattered the background with white and black paint.  After the paint had dried, I used stencil butter with the Geometric Chevron Stencil to create the background.

I stamped the images from the Spooktacular Cupcakes Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.  I just love this cupcake with the witch legs sticking out!  It cracks me up every time I see it!

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is also from the Spooktacular Cupcakes Stamp Set, onto black cardstock and white heat embossed.  I die cut the sentiment out using the coordinating die. 

I assembled my card using black cardstock for the base, and popped up the image and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen and a few clay stars and bats from the new Spooktacular Bats Clay Embellishment Mix.  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!  Head on over to the Pawsome Stamps online shop to check out the entire New Release!

Inky Paws Challenge #181 - Fall Theme

 Hi everyone!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #181 - Fall Theme.  You have until Friday, September 9th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I stamped out the gorgeous new Autumn Oval Stamp, and the mouse with pumpkins image from the Autumn Mice Stamp Set.  I colored both images with copic markers, then die cut the oval using the largest scalloped oval die in the Oval Frames Die Set.  I used the coordinating die from the Autumn Mice Die Set to cut out the mouse image.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Autumn Oval Stamp Set, in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed.

I then picked a patterned paper from the new Autumn Paper Pad for my background, and die cut it with the scalloped frame die from the Frames and Flags Die Set.  

I assembled my card using a dark kraft cardbase, and popped up the mouse image with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a Fall Theme project using your Newton's Nook Designs products!  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

It's All Fun and Games...

 Hi everyone!  Today I am sharing a card I created using the Wonderland 1 Stamp Set illustrated by Dustin Pike for The Rabbit Hole Designs!

I started this card by die cutting a piece of black cardstock and using the gorgeous Rhombus - Diamond Hot Foil Coverplate as a letterpress, running it through my die cutting machine to emboss it into the cardstock.  I then splattered the background with gold watercolor paint and set it aside to dry.

Next, I stamped out the Ace of Hearts and tree images from the Wonderland 1 Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set. 

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Heard in Wonderland Stamp Set, onto white cardstock, cut it into a rectangle, and adhered it to gold glitter cardstock to give the sentiment piece a border.    

I assembled my card using gold glitter cardstock for the base, and adhered the images with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on my card I added white gel pen accents, glitter with a glitter pen, and a few gold confetti pieces!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Inky Paws Challenge #180 - Sketch Challenge Reminder Post

 Hi everyone!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #180 - Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, August 26th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  

To start this card I stamped this gorgeous floral image and sentiment from the Best Mom Oval Stamp Set onto smooth white cardstock and gold heat embossed.  I colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and die cut it out using the largest scalloped oval die in the Oval Frames Die Set.

I assembled my card using purple striped paper from the Springtime Paper Pad, cork paper with some gold in it, and a strip of gold glitter cardstock.  I then adhered the oval with foam tape for some dimension!

Any Road Card

 Hi everyone!  Today I am sharing a card I created using the Wonderland 1 Stamp Set illustrated by Dustin Pike for The Rabbit Hole Designs!

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock and used the Fiddlehead Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, and Mowed Lawn to create the background.

Next, I stamped out the Tweedledee and Tweedledum images from the Wonderland 1 Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set. 

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Heard in Wonderland Stamp Set, onto white cardstock, cut it into a rectangle, and adhered it to blue cardstock to give the sentiment piece a border.    

I assembled my card using blue cardstock for the base, and adhered the images with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on my card I added white gel pen accents and a little bit of glitter with a glitter pen!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Inky Paws Challenge #180 - Sketch Challenge

 Hi everybody!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #180 - Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, August 26th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  I know the Sketch is horizontal, but as soon as I saw it I thought of this little gnome and had to flip the Sketch!

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock using a stitched oval die from the Oval Frames Die Set.  I used the Clouds Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Salvaged Patina to create the background.  

I stamped out this super cute gnome and ladybug from the Gnome Garden Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.  

I used a fishtail banner die from the Frames and Flags Die Set to cut a sentiment banner.  I white heat embossed the sentiment, also from the Gnome Garden Stamp Set.  

I assembled my card using butterfly patterned paper from the Springtime Paper Pad, textured teal cardstock, and a strip of silver glitter cardstock.  I then adhered the oval and popped up the images and sentiment banner for some dimension! 

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glossy accents on the ladybug, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Sketch Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

Every Adventure...

 Hi everyone!  Today I am sharing a card I created using the new Wonderland 1 Stamp Set illustrated by Dustin Pike for The Rabbit Hole Designs!

To start this card I die cut a piece of white cardstock then used the doorknob image in the Wonderland 1 Stamp Set to create a background.  I stamped the image multiple times and gold heat embossed.

Next, I stamped the sentiment and key from the Heard in Wonderland Stamp Set onto black cardstock and gold heat embossed those as well.  I cut a rectangle around the sentiment and fussy cut the key. 

I assembled my card adhering the doorknob background to black cardstock for the base, and I popped up the sentiment and key with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added a few gold confetti pieces!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Pawsome Stamps Sneak Peek Day 1 - Purrfectly Spooky Stamp Set

  Hi everyone!  I am up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today sharing this Sneak Peek of the new Purrfectly Spooky Stamp Set and Mummy Wrap Stencil!  I love creating Halloween cards and am so excited for everyone to see this awesome new release!   

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock and using the new Mummy Wrap Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Weathered Wood and Black Soot.  I then splattered white and black watercolor onto the background and set it aside to dry.

Next, I stamped out this super cute kitty and his witchy accessories!  I colored all of the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.  I absolutely love the labels on the little potion bottles!

I stamped the sentiment on black cardstock and white heat embossed.  There are sentiment dies included in the die set so I was able to die cut the sentiment.  Totally love that!  

I assembled my card using black cardstock for the base, and foam tape to pop up the kitty for some dimension!  

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, and sequins and stars from the new Black Magic Sequin Mix!  Be sure to check out all of the brand new stamp sets, stencils, and sequin mixes that will be available in the Pawsome Stamps online shop on Wednesday, August 17th!

Inky Paws Challenge #179 - Color Challenge Reminder Post

 Hi everybody!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #179 - Color Challenge.  The colors are Black, Pink, Green, and Gray.  You have until Friday, August 12th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! 

To start this card I used the large postage stamp die in the Framework Die Set to cut the gorgeous watermelon paper from the Summertime Paper Pad.  Next, I used a scalloped circle die from the Circle Frames Die Set to cut a piece of smooth white cardstock on which I blended Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks.  I then sprayed the ink with water, and after the water had dried I splattered it with black metallic watercolor paint.  

I stamped the super cute image of Newton with his watermelon from the Newton's Melon Stamp Set.  I colored him with copic markers, then cut him out using the coordinating die set.  

I used a fishtail banner die from the Frames and Flags Die Set to cut a sentiment banner out of black cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Melon Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.  

I assembled my card using black cardstock for the base, and foam tape to pop up Newton and the sentiment banner!
