TRHD September Release Inspiration Hop - Day 3

 Hi everyone!  Today is Day 3 of The Rabbit Hole Designs September Release Inspiration Hop and it is featuring the new Silly Pumpkins Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop.

I started this card by die cutting a piece of purple cardstock with the second largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies. I used the smallest die from the same set to die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock.  I then blended on Distress Oxide Inks Wilted Violet and Blueprint Sketch, and used watercolor paint from Iuile Watercolors to create a sparkling background! I splattered the background with white paint and set it aside to dry.

Next, I stamped this adorable image from the Silly Pumpkins Stamp Set, colored it with with copic markers, and fussy cut it out. 

I assembled my card, adhering the layers together, and using black cardstock for the base.  I popped up the image with foam tape for some dimension!  

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen and glitter to the leaves!  I hope you are enjoying the hop today!  Thank you for joining us!

TRHD September Release Inspiration Hop - Day 1

 Hi everyone!  Today is Day 1 of The Rabbit Hole Designs September Release Inspiration Hop and it is featuring the new Meowgical Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop.

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock with the second largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I used the Back Alley Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Weathered Wood, left the stencil in place, and used Prism watercolor from Iuile Watercolors to create a sparkling background! I then splattered the background with black watercolor paint and set it aside to dry.

Next, I stamped this super cute kitty image from the Meowgical Stamp Set, colored it with with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set. 

I stamped the sentiment and spiderweb, which are from the Meowgical Stamp Set, directly onto the background in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine! 

I assembled my card using black cardstock for a base, and popped up the kitty with foam tape for some dimension!  

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen and glossy accents on the kitty's nose!  I hope you are enjoying the hop today!  Thank you for joining us!

Inky Paws Challenge #205 - Use Stripes Theme Reminder Post

  Hi everyone!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #205 - Use Stripes Theme.  You have until Friday, September 1st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! 

I started this card by die cutting a piece of white cardstock with the large postage stamp die from the Framework Die Set.  I then used the same die to cut the striped paper which is from the Birthday Woofs Paper Pad.  

Next, I stamped this super cute image of the pups and the gift from the Birthday Barks Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Birthday Barks Stamp Set, directly onto the white cardstock in black pigment ink, and clear heat embossed for some shine! 

I assembled my card adhering the striped paper to the white cardstock, adding an orange ribbon between the two.  I then adhered my background to a teal cardbase, and used foam tape to pop up the images for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, glossy accents, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a theme project using stripes and your Newton's Nook Designs products!  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

Pawsome Stamps Sneak Peek Day 2 - Fall Wreath

 Hi everyone!  I'm up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today for Sneak Peek Day 2 of the Fall Release.  Today we are featuring the gorgeous Fall Wreath Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop.  

I started this card by die cutting a piece of white cardstock with a square die.  I then stamped this beautiful image from the Fall Wreath Stamp Set in brown ink.  

I then used the Chunky Sweater Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Antique Linen to create the background.  I colored the image with copic markers, then splattered it with gold watercolor paint.

After the paint was dry, I stamped the sentiment in the center of wreath in brown pigment ink, and clear heat embossed for some shine!

I adhered my colored panel to a brown cardbase with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added a few sparkling sequins from the Autumn Bliss Sequin Mix!  I hope you are enjoying all of the wonderful Sneak Peeks this week!  The New Release will be available for purchase in the Pawsome Stamps online shop on Thursday, August 31st!

Fall Fox

  Hi everyone!  I'm up on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog today with this card I created featuring the adorable Fall Foxes Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop.

I started this card by die cutting a piece of kraft cardstock with the second largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I then used the smallest frame die from the same set to die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock.  I used the Falling Leaves Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, and Candied Apple to create the background.

Next, I stamped this super cute image from the Fall Foxes Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the "Fall" sentiment from the Fall Foxes Stamp Set onto orange cardstock and white heat embossed.  I die cut the sentiment using the coordinating die set.

I assembled my card, adhering the layers together, and using orange cardstock for the base.  I popped up the image with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, glossy accents on the fox's nose, and a few Clear Sparkle Enamel Dots!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Inky Paws Challenge #205 - Use Stripes Theme

 Hi everyone!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #205 - Use Stripes Theme.  You have until Friday, September 1st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! 

I started this card by die cutting the striped paper from the Birthday Meows Paper Pad with the scalloped frame die from the Frames and Flags Die Set.  I then used the rectangle die from the Newton's Book Club Die Set to cut a section for the shaker window, and adhered acetate to the back of the striped paper.

Next, I stamped this adorable image from the Newton's Book Club Stamp Set and colored it with copic markers.  I used the new Celebration Embellishment Mix for the shaker elements, applied foam tape around the shaker window, and adhered it to my colored image.

I die cut a pink sentiment banner using a die from the Banner Trio Die Set.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Book Club Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.  

I assembled my card using pink cardstock for the base.  I then adhered the sentiment banner, folding on the scored lines for some dimension!

It's Fall Y'all!

  Hi everyone!  I'm up on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog today with this card featuring the super cute Fall Foxes Stamp Set and Falling Leaves Stamp both illustrated by Agota Pop.

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock with the second largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I used the Falling Leaves Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Peeled Paint, Spiced Marmalade, and Vintage Photo to create a gorgeous background.  I then stamped over the stenciled leaves in brown pigment ink with the Falling Leaves Stamp and clear heat embossed for some shine.  

Next, I stamped out this adorable fox from the Fall Foxes Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set. 

I die cut a brown banner using a die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I stamped the sentiment and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card using brown cardstock for the base, and popped up the image and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glossy accents on the fox's nose, and a few Clear Sparkle Enamel Dots!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Inky Paws Challenge #204 - Sketch Challenge Reminder Post

  Hi everyone!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #204 - Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, August 18th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! 

The first card I made for this challenge was 6" x 4 1/4" so I decided to keep the same measurements for this card.  To start, I cut a piece of kraft paper for the cardbase to 6" x 4 1/4", and used the retiring Hardwood Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain to create a woodgrain background. I cut the red glitter paper to 6" x 2 3/4".  I then cut a piece of smooth white cardstock to 6" x 2 1/4", and used the Gingham Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Candied Apple to resemble a picnic tablecloth!

Next, I stamped these super cute burger images from the Buns Out Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set. 

For the sentiment, I die cut a stitched circle from white cardstock using the Slimline Frames and Portholes Die Set.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Buns Out Stamp Set, in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!  

I assembled my card, adhering the layers together and popping up the images and sentiment circle with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #204 - Sketch Challenge

 Hi everybody!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #204 - Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, August 18th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! 

To start this card I found these gorgeous patterned papers in the Spring Blooms Paper Pad.  The paper pad itself is 6" x 6", so I cut the paper for the cardbase to 6" x 4 1/4", the green glitter paper to 6" x 2 3/4", and the floral paper to 6" x 2 1/4".

Next, I stamped these beautiful butterfly images from the Monarchs Stamp Set.  Leaving the stamp in place in my Misti, I colored the images with copic markers.  I then placed the images back in the Misti, stamped them with black pigment ink, and clear heat embossed for some shine!  I die cut the butterflies using the Monarchs Die Set.

For the sentiment, I die cut a stitched circle from white cardstock using the Slimline Frames and Portholes Die Set.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Monarchs Stamp Set, in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed.  

I assembled my card, adhering the layers together and popping up the images and sentiment circle with foam tape for some dimension!

Spread Your Beautiful Wings...

  Hi everyone!  I'm up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today sharing this card I created using the gorgeous Beautiful Wings Stamp and Die Set!

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock and blended on Distress Oxide Inks Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch.  I then splattered the background with gold watercolor paint and set it aside to dry.

Next, I stamped this gorgeous moth image from the Beautiful Wings Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

I die cut sentiment banners out of black cardstock, stamped the sentiments, and gold heat embossed!

I assembled my card using black cardstock for the base, and popped up the moth and sentiment banners with foam tape for some dimension!
