Inky Paws Challenge #203 - Color Challenge Reminder Post

 Hi everyone!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #203 - Color Challenge.  The colors are Watermelon Red, Flamingo Pink, Parakeet Green, and Seafoam Blue.  You have until Friday, August 4th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock with the large postage stamp die from the Framework Die Set.  I then used the Confetti Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Tumble Glass, Twisted Citron, and Mowed Lawn to create a fun background!

I stamped these delicious looking ice cream images from the Summer Scoops Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I die cut a blue sentiment banner using a fishtail banner die from the Frames and Flags Die Set.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Summer Scoops Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card using blue cardstock for the base, and popped up the images and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Color Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

Gnome Sweet Gnome

 Hi everyone!  I'm up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today sharing this card I created using the absolutely adorable Gnomie Stamp and Die Set illustrated by Agota Pop!

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock and used the Clouds for Days Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Antique Linen, Kitsch Flamingo, and Shaded Lilac to create a colorful background.

Next, I stamped these super images of the mushroom house, gnome, pool, and stepping stones from the Gnomie Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.  The butterflies are from the Spring Day Stamp and Die Set.

I stamped the sentiment onto teal cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then fussy cut it out.

I assembled my card using teal cardstock for base.  I popped up the mushroom house and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

TRHD August Release Inspiration Hop - Day 2

 Hi everyone!  Today is Day 2 of The Rabbit Hole Designs August Release Inspiration Hop and it is featuring the new Fall Foxes Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop.

I started this card by die cutting a piece of kraft cardstock with the second largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I then used the Falling Leaves Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Mustard Seed and Candied Apple to create the background! 

Next, I stamped these super cute images from the Fall Foxes Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Fall Foxes Stamp Set, onto brown cardstock and white heat embossed.  

I assembled my card using brown cardstock for a base, and popped up the foxes for some dimension!  

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, and glossy accents on the foxes noses!  I hope you are enjoying the hop today!  Thank you for joining us!

TRHD August Release Inspiration Hop - Day 1

 Hi everyone!  Today is Day 1 of The Rabbit Hole Designs August Release Inspiration Hop and it is featuring the new Falling Leaves Stamp illustrated by Agota Pop.  Today is also featuring the Falling Leaves coordinating dies, stencil, and hot foil plates.

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock with the second largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I used the Falling Leaves Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Peacock Feathers, Spiced Marmalade, and Vintage Photo to create a gorgeous color on the leaves.  I then stamped over the stenciled leaves with the Falling Leaves Stamp and gold heat embossed.  

Next, I used the beautiful Falling Leaves Hot Foil Plates to create the gold leaves.  I actually loved the look of the negatives, and used the Falling Leaves Die Set to cut them out.

I used the Hello - Scripty Word with Shadow Layer Dies to create the sentiment.  I die cut "Hello" from gold mirror cardstock, and used teal cardstock for the shadow.  

I assembled my card using teal cardstock for base, and adhered the sentiment with foam tape for some dimension.

I stamped this gorgeous image from the Flamingo Oval Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the largest scalloped oval in the Oval Frames Die Set.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Flamingo Oval Stamp Set, in the center of the oval with black pigment ink.  I clear heat embossed for some shine!

I assembled my card using green cardstock for the base, and popped up the flamingo oval with foam tape for some dimension!

Baby's First Christmas

   Hi everyone!  I'm up on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog today with this card featuring the Baby's 1st Christmas Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop.

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock with the second largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I then used the Mesh - Optical Illusion Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Kitsch Flamingo and Peacock Feathers to create the background! 

Next, I stamped out these super cute images from the Baby's 1st Christmas Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the sentiment onto teal cardstock, and white heat embossed. 

I assembled my card using teal cardstock for the base.  I adhered the gifts directly onto the background, and popped up the rocking horse and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, and a few Clear Sparkle Enamel Dots.  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Inky Paws Challenge #202 - Summer Lovin' Theme Reminder Post

  Hi everyone!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #202 - Summer Lovin' Theme.  You have until Friday, July 21st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  

I started this card by using the window frames die from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set to cut the ice cream patterned paper from the Summertime Paper Pad.  I like the ice cream images so much that I used that paper for the window frames, and for inside the windows as well.

Next, I stamped out these super cute images of Newton with his ice cream from Newton's Summer Treats Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

  

I used one of the banner dies from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set to cut the sentiment banner out of dark pink cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Summer Treats Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.  

I assembled my card, die cutting a dark pink stitched scalloped cardbase using the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set.  I used foam tape to pop up the window frames, images, and sentiment banner for some dimension!

Friend Like You

  Hi everyone!  I'm up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today with this card I created using the gorgeous Beautiful Wings Stamp and Die Set!

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock and used the Clouds for Days Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean to create a background of fluffy clouds.

Next, I stamped this amazing dragonfly image from the Beautiful Wings Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the sentiment directly onto the background in black pigment ink, and clear heat embossed for some shine!

I assembled my card using textured blue cardstock for base, and popped up the dragonfly with foam tape for some dimension!

 Hi everyone!  I'm up on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog today with this card I created using the Sweet Christmas Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop.

I started this card by stamping out this gorgeous cupcake image from the Sweet Christmas Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I die cut a piece of white cardstock with the second largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I then randomly stamped the candy cane images from the Sweet Christmas Stamp Set to create a light colored background.

I die cut a sentiment banner using the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies, stamped the sentiment, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card, using patterned paper from the Retro Christmas Paper Pack for the base.  I popped up the image and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, and a few Clear Enamel Dots.  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Inky Paws Challenge #202 - Summer Lovin' Theme

 Hi everyone!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #202 - Summer Lovin' Theme.  You have until Friday, July 21st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock using the scalloped frame die from the Frames and Flags Die Set.  I then used the Retro Sun and Palms Stencil Set to create the background.  For the sun I blended Distress Oxide Inks Squeezed Lemonade and Picked Raspberry.  For the palm trees I used black glitter paste to give them some sparkle!

Next, I stamped out these gorgeous images from the Aloha Newton Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

  

After the palm trees were dry, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Aloha Newton Stamp Set, directly onto the background in black pigment ink.  I clear heat embossed the sentiment for some shine!

I assembled my card using teal cardstock for the base.  I used the Land Borders Die Set to cut a piece of gold glitter paper for the sand, and popped up the images with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #201 - Sketch Challenge Reminder Post

 Hi everybody!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #201 - Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, July 7th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! 

To start this card I used the scalloped frame die from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set to cut out the purple cardstock.  I used the second largest stitched oval die with a smooth edge, from the Oval Frames Die Set, to cut out a piece of smooth white cardstock.  I used the Confetti Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, and Salty Ocean to create the background on the oval.  I then cut the balloon patterned paper from the Birthday Party Paper Pad to 2 1/4" wide, and the pink cardstock to 3/4" wide.  I used the scalloped frame die from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set to cut the scalloped edges on both papers.  

Next, I stamped out this super cute image of Newton from Newton's Birthday Balloons Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Birthday Balloons Stamp Set, directly onto the strip of pink cardstock, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card, using dark gray cardstock for the base. I popped up the image with foam tape for some dimension, and used multi-color twine for the bow!
