Inky Paws Challenge #176 - Color Challenge Reminder Post

 Hi everyone!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #176 - Color Challenge.  The colors are Crimson Red, Cobalt Blue, Turquoise Blue, and White.  You have until Friday, July 1st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock with the large postage stamp die in the Framework Die Set.  I blended on Distress Oxide Inks Prize Ribbon and Mermaid Lagoon, then used the Fireworks Stencil with one of my favorite things, glitter paste, to create a sparkling background!  

I stamped the super cute image of Newton on a firecracker from Newton's 4th of July Stamp Set, colored it with Copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.  

For the sentiment, I stamped the large "celebrate" sentiment from the Birthday Essentials Stamp Set onto blue cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then fussy cut around the sentiment.

I assembled my card using blue cardstock for the base and foam tape to pop up the image and the sentiment!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Color Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

Floral Rubber Ducky

 Hi everyone!  Today I am excited to share a card I created combining the Rubber Ducky - Fishing Stamp Set designed by Dustin Pike and the Flower Whale Stamp Set designed by Tatsiana Zayats for The Rabbit Hole Designs!

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock on which I used the Overlapping Circles Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Salvaged Patina, Tumbled Glass, and Salty Ocean to create a watery feeling background.  

Next, I stamped the cute duck from the Rubber Ducky - Fishing Stamp Set designed by Dustin Pike, and some floral images from the Flower Whale Stamp Set designed by Tatsiana Zayats.  I colored all of the images with Copic markers, then fussy cut the duck, and used the Flower Whale Die Set to cut out the floral images.  

I die cut a teal fishtail banner on which I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Rubber Ducky - Fishing Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.  

I assembled my card using teal cardstock for a base, and foam tape to pop up the rubber ducky and sentiment banner!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter to the flower centers, and a few sparkling sequins!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Heffy Doodle and Pawsome Stamps Collaboration Blog Hop

 Welcome to the Heffy Doodle and Pawsome Stamps Collaboration Blog Hop! Design Team members from both companies are sharing inspiration using products from both companies!

To start I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock on which I used the Clouds for Days Stencil by Pawsome Stamps with Distress Oxide Inks Antique Linen, Kitsch Flamingo, and Shaded Lilac to create a colorful cloudy background.  

I then used the Heffy Doodle Hot Air Balloon Dies to create this awesome hot air balloon.  I love this die set because it comes with dies to create all of the accessories including the basket, sandbags, and banners as well!  

Next, I stamped out the giraffe from the Pawsome Stamps Picture Pals Stamp Set, and butterflies from the Spring Day Stamp Set, colored them with Copic markers, and cut them out using their coordinating die sets.  

I die cut a gray fishtail banner and white heat embossed the sentiment, which is from the Spring Day Stamp Set.  

I assembled my card, adhering the cloudy background to a 5" x 7" teal cardbase, and popping up the images and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, and glitter to the butterflies!  

I couldn't help myself and also created a couple of shaker tags using the Heffy Doodle Tag Along Dies!

For the Happy Birthday Tag I used the Pawsome Stamps Happy Birthday Stencil for the background, and images from the Monster Party Stamp Set colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the coordinating die set.  I filled the tag with sequins from the Mint Chip Sequin Mix, and white heat embossed the sentiment, which is from the Monster Party Stamp Set, onto a banner created with the Heffy Doodle Tag Along Dies.  

For the Hang in There Tag I used the Heffy Doodle UnbeLEAFable Stencil to create the background, and images from the Pawsome Stamps Playful Pandas Stamp Set colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the coordinating die set.  I filled the tag with sequins from the Captivating Cactus Sequin Mix, and white heat embossed the sentiment, which is from the Playful Pandas Stamp Set, onto a banner created with the Heffy Doodle Tag Along Dies.

Inky Paws Challenge #176 - Color Challenge

 Hi everybody!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #176 - Color Challenge.  The colors are Crimson Red, Cobalt Blue, Turquoise Blue, and White.  You have until Friday, July 1st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! 

To start this card I cut a piece of blue cardstock to mini slimline size.  I used the Cascading Stars Stencil with Pearl White Stencil Butter to create a gorgeous starry background!  

I stamped out the image of Newton sleeping on all his blankets from the Newton's Naptime Stamp Set.  I love all of the different designs on the blankets!  I colored the image with Copic markers and fussy cut it out.  If you don't like to fussy cut, there is a coordinating die set available!  

I die cut a sentiment banner using the smallest fishtail banner die in the Frames and Flags Die Set.  After stamping and white heat embossing the sentiment, I used the die again on one side to cut the banner down to a smaller size.

I assembled my card using blue cardstock for the base, and foam tape to pop up the image and sentiment banner for some dimension!  

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, glossy accents on Newton's cute little nose, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Color Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

Picture Perfect Friendship

  Hi everyone!  I'm up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today with this card I created using the Picture Pals and Picture Perfect Stamp Sets!  I just love all the little critters in the Picture Pals Stamp Set.  They go so well with so many different card designs!

To start this card I used a stencil for the background that has quickly become one of my favorites, the Happy Birthday Stencil!  I blended on Distress Oxide Inks Salvaged Patina, Kitsch Flamingo, and Shaded Lilac, then keeping the stencil in place, I added glitter paste over the ink blending to create a gorgeous sparkling background. 

Next, I stamped one of the picture frames from the Picture Perfect Stamp Set and the llama from the Picture Pals Stamp Set.  I colored them both with Copic markers, and cut them out using their coordinating die sets.  

I die cut a teal banner for the sentiment, then stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment, which is from the Picture Perfect Stamp Set.  

I assembled my card using teal cardstock for the base, and foam tape to adhere the images and sentiment banner for some dimension!

Adventure Awaits

 Hi everyone!  Today I am sharing a card I created using the new Desert Background Stamp designed by Dustin Pike for The Rabbit Hole Designs!

To start, I stamped the Desert Background Stamp onto smooth white cardstock in black pigment ink.  I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color the scene.  I just love that cute little snake! 

Next, I die cut a fishtail banner out of dark kraft cardstock for my sentiment.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Adventure Awaits Stamp Set, in brown pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!

I assembled my card using dark kraft cardstock for my base, and adhered the sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #175 - One Layer Card Theme Reminder Post

 Hi everybody!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #175 - One Layer Card Theme Challenge.  You have until Friday, June 17th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card, I cut a piece of smooth white cardstock to A2 size.  I knew I wanted a border so I used the large postage stamp die from the Framework Die Set to cut a piece of cardstock I used as a mask.  I placed it on my panel and inked all around the edges with Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink.  After taking the mask away, it looks just as if there are two layers! 

Next, I stamped and white heat embossed the beautiful floral and butterfly images from the Lilac Stamp Set.  I colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and splattered the background with watercolor paint.  

After the watercolor was dry, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Tulips Stamp Set, directly onto my card in gray pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!

SxS Life

 Hi everyone!  Today I am sharing a card I created using the new SxS Life Stamp Set designed by Dustin Pike for The Rabbit Hole Designs!  This stamp set is exclusive to The Rabbit Hole Designs and will not be available on any other website.  Profits from every sale of this stamp set will go to fund injured drivers/riders, families of drivers/riders who have lost their lives, and organizations that promote & educate driver and rider safety in the off-road environment. This will be for the lifetime of the stamp set in The Rabbit Hole Designs shop!

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock and used the new Up in Flames Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade, and Squeezed Lemonade.  

Next, I stamped out the image from the SxS Life Stamp Set, colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and fussy cut it out.

I then stamped the sentiment, which is also from the SxS Life Stamp Set, directly onto my card in gray pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!

I assembled my card using dark gray cardstock for a base and adhered the image with foam tape for some dimension!

It's Your Birthday - Treat Yourself!

  Hi everybody!  I am up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today sharing a birthday card I created using the new XL Birthday Greetings and Picture Pals Stamp Sets!  This card was so much fun to make!  

To start, I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock and used the Happy Birthday Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks to create a colorful rainbow background!  

I stamped out the super cute mouse and toucan from the Picture Pals Stamp Set, colored them with Copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.  

Next, I stamped the sentiment from the XL Birthday Greetings Stamp Set with black pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!  I die cut the sentiment using the coordinating die set.  

I assembled my card using black glitter cardstock for the base because I really wanted the rainbow colors and greeting to pop!  I adhered the images and sentiment with foam tape to create dimension on my card!  

For finishing touches I added white gel pen accents, and a few sparkling sequins from the Diamond Diva Sequin Mix!  I love that mix because it goes with everything!  I hope you enjoyed my card today.  Head on over to the Pawsome Stamps online shop to check out the latest release today!

Inky Paws Challenge #175 - One Layer Card Theme

 Hi everyone!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #175 - One Layer Card Theme.  You have until Friday, June 17th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  This challenge really was challenging for me, but it was so fun, and I had a great time creating my cards!

To start, I cut a piece of smooth white cardstock to slimline size.  I knew I wanted a border so I used the scalloped edge die from the Slimline Frames and Portholes Die Set to cut a piece of cardstock I used as a mask.  I placed it on my panel and inked all around the edges with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink.  After taking the mask away, it looks just as if there are two layers! 

Next, I placed the square stencil from the Slimline Masking Circles and Squares Stencil Set over my card and inked the squares with Distress Oxide Inks Salvaged Patina, Shaded Lilac, and Kitsch Flamingo.  I love these colors together!  I then splattered my background with watercolor paint and set it aside to dry.

After the watercolor was dry, I stamped the gorgeous images and sentiment from the Beautiful Wings Stamp Set in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!

You're a Good Catch

 Hi everyone!  Today I am excited to share a card I created using the new Rubber Ducky - Fishing Stamp Set designed by Dustin Pike for The Rabbit Hole Designs!

For this card I used a circle mask with the Splish Splash Stencil and Distress Oxide Inks Salvaged Patina, Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean.  I kept the stencil in place and spread glitter paste over the inked area to create a beautiful sparkling background!  

I then stamped this super cute image from the new Rubber Ducky - Fishing Stamp Set designed by Dustin Pike, colored him with Copic makers, and fussy cut him out.  

For the sentiment, I die cut a teal banner to match my background and the duck's hat.  I then stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment.  

I assembled my card using teal cardstock for the base, and foam tape to pop up the image and sentiment banner for some dimension!  

For finishing touches on my card I added accents with a white gel pen and a few sparkling sequins!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!
