Hi everybody! This is Week 2 of the Inky Paws Challenge! It is Friendship Cards Theme Challenge. You have until Friday, June 26th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
To start this card I picked out the papers I wanted to use for the background from the Pastel Basics Paper Pad and cut them using the Card Layout 6 Die. I used the same die to cut out the white frame.
Next, I stamped out this beautiful image from the Heartfelt Blooms Stamp Set. I colored the image with copic markers and cut it out using the largest scalloped heart die in the Heart Frames Die Set.
I then used the stitched fishtail banner die in the Banner Trio Die Set to cut a piece of light purple cardstock. I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Heartfelt Blooms Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.
I assembled my card using light purple cardstock for the base, and popped up the heart and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, some glitter and glossy accents, and a few sparkling sequins!
