Hi everyone! A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today! It is Friendship Cards Theme Challenge. You have until Friday, June 26th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
To start this card I picked out the papers I wanted to use for the background from the Bright Basics Paper Pad and cut them using the Card Layout 5 Die. I used the same die to cut out the white frame.
Next, I used the Newton Loves Pizza Stamp Set to stamp out this adorable image of Newton enjoying a huge piece of pizza! I colored the image with copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating die set.
I then used the small banner die from the Frames and Flags Die Set to cut a piece of black cardstock. I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Newton Loves Pizza Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.
I assembled my card using black cardstock for the base, and popped up the image and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glossy accents on Newton's nose and toe beans, and a few sparkling sequins!
