Hi everyone! This is Week 3 of the Inky Paws Challenge! It is Friendship Cards Theme Challenge. You have until Friday, June 26th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
To start this card I picked out the floral paper I wanted to use for the background from the Springtime Paper Pad and cut it using the Fractured Card Layout Die. I used the same die to cut out the green glitter frame. The green glitter cardstock is from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment.
Next, I stamped this super cute image of Newton, and a couple of extra leaves, from Newton's Hanging Basket Stamp Set. I colored the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.
I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Hanging Basket Stamp Set, directly onto the white cardstock I used in the center. I stamped it in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!
I assembled my card using green glitter cardstock for the base, and popped up the images with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glossy accents on Newton's nose, and a few sparkling sequins!
