Inky Paws Challenge #252 - Sketch Challenge Week 4

 Hi everyone!  This is Week 4 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, May 29th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! 

To start this card I picked out the papers I wanted to use for the background from the Coffee House Stories Paper Pad.  The card measures 5" x 6.5".  The book shelf paper is cut to 5" x 3", the Newton reading paper is cut to 2.5" x 5.5", and heart pattern paper is cut to 2.5" x 3".  The purple glitter paper is from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment and is cut with the small banner die from the Frames and Flags Die Set. 

Next, I stamped out this super cute image of Newton on a stack of books from Newton's Book Club Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Book Club Stamp Set, onto purple cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then fussy cut around the sentiment.

I assembled my card according to the sketch, using purple cardstock for the base, and popped up the image and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, a little bit of glitter, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Sketch Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!
