Inky Paws Challenge #252 - Sketch Challenge Week 3

 Hi everyone!  This is Week 3 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, May 29th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! 

To start this card I picked out the papers I wanted to use for the background from A Dog's Life Paper Pad.  The card measures 5" x 6.5".  The word pattern paper is cut to 5" x 3", the dog pattern paper is cut to 2.5" x 5.5", the paw print paper is cut to 2.5" x 3", and the green paw and heart pattern paper is cut with the small banner die from the Frames and Flags Die Set. 

Next, I cut out the dogs using yellow glitter cardstock from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment and the Dog Silhouettes Die Set.

For the sentiment, I used the smallest tag die in the Essential Tags Die Set to cut the white paper on which I stamped the sentiment, and a piece of yellow glitter cardstock from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment as well.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Say Woof Stamp Set, onto the white tag in gray pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!

I assembled my card according to the sketch, using light blue cardstock for the base, and popped up the images with foam tape for some dimension!  I then added a paw print bow to the tags.
