Hi everybody! This is Week 2 of the Inky Paws Challenge! It is a Sketch Challenge. You have until Friday, May 29th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! I made this card for my Mom for Mother's Day!
To start this card I picked out the papers I wanted to use for the background from the Spring Blooms Paper Pad. The card measures 5" x 6.5". The yellow gingham paper is cut to 5" x 3", the floral pattern paper is cut to 2.5" x 5.5", and cloud pattern paper is cut to 2.5" x 3". The yellow glitter paper is from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment and is cut with the small banner die from the Frames and Flags Die Set.
Next, I stamped out these gorgeous images from the Floral Delights Stamp Set. I colored the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.
I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Best Mom Oval, directly onto the cloud pattern paper and white heat embossed.
I assembled my card according to the sketch, using kraft cardstock for the base, and popped up the images with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card I added some glitter and a few sparkling sequins! Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Sketch Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products. Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Hope to see you there!
