Hi everyone! This is Week 2 of the Inky Paws Challenge! It is a Color Challenge. The colors are Magenta, Turquoise, Purple, and Bright Yellow. You have until Friday, May 1st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
To start this card I picked out the paper I wanted to use for the background from the New Retro Paper Pack and die cut it with the large zig zag frame die from the Frames and Tags Die Set. I then die cut a piece of purple cardstock with the frame with 3 windows die from the same die set.
Next, I stamped out all of these super fun drinks from the Cocktail Mixer Stamp Set. I colored them with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.
I used the "cheers!" die from the Cocktail Mixer Die Set for the sentiment. I die cut it 3 times using pink glitter cardstock from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment and glued the words together in layers to create some dimension.
I assembled my card using purple cardstock for the base and popped up the images with foam tape.
For finishing touches on this card I added a bit of glitter and a few sparkling sequins! Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Color Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products. Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Hope to see you there!
