Hi everybody! This is Week 3 of the Inky Paws Challenge! It is a Color Challenge. The colors are Magenta, Turquoise, Purple, and Bright Yellow. You have until Friday, May 1st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
To start this card I cut a piece of smooth white cardstock to A2 size and used the Retro Vibes Stencil Set to create the background. For layer one I used Distress Oxide Inks Squeezed Lemonade, Kitsch Flamingo, and Shaded Lilac. For layer two I blended on Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry, and Wilted Violet. I then used the Card Layout 4 Die to create the turquoise frame.
I stamped out this super cute image of the kitties and cakes, and the party hats, from Newton's Birthday Delights Stamp Set. I colored the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.
Next, I used the small banner die from the Frames and Flags Die Set to cut a piece of turquoise cardstock. I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Party On! Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.
I assembled my card using a turquoise cardbase and popped up the images and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, a bit of glitter, and a few sparkling sequins!
