Hi everyone! A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today! It is a Color Challenge. The colors are Magenta, Turquoise, Purple, and Bright Yellow. You have until Friday, May 1st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
To start this card I picked out the papers I wanted to use for the background from the New Retro Paper Pack. I also chose the yellow glitter cardstock from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment for the frame. I then die cut the papers using the Card Layout 7 Die.
I stamped out the book and coffee images from the Never Enough Books Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.
Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Never Enough Books Stamp Set, onto pink cardstock and white heat embossed. I then fussy cut around the sentiment.
I assembled my card using pink cardstock for the base, popping up the images and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card I added a bit of glitter and a few sparkling sequins! Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Color Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products. Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Hope to see you there!
