Inky Paws Challenge #248 - Color Challenge Week 3

 Hi everyone!  This is Week 3 of the January Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Color Challenge.  The colors are Cinnamon Red, Lilac, Soft Pink, and Buttercream White.  You have until Friday, January 30th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out the purple glitter paper I wanted to use from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment.  I then used the Filigree Oval Frame Die Set to cut a piece of white cardstock and adhered it to the purple glitter paper to create this gorgeous background!

I stamped out this super cute image from Newton's Bright Birthday Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.  

Next, I used a small banner die from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set to cut out a piece of light purple cardstock for the sentiment.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Bright Birthday Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.  

I assembled my card using light purple cardstock for the base and popped up the image and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card, I added accents with a white gel pen, a bit of glitter, glossy accents on the kitties' noses and toe beans, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Color Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!
