Hi everybody! This is Week 2 of the January Inky Paws Challenge! It is a Color Challenge. The colors are Cinnamon Red, Lilac, Soft Pink, and Buttercream White. You have until Friday, January 30th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
To start this card I picked out the envelope patterned paper for the background from the Love and Meows Paper Pad and cut it to A2 size. I then cut out the red frame using the A2 Card Layout 2 Die.
I stamped these super cute images from the Valentine Postage Sampler, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set. I then used a couple of dies from the Cat Silhouettes Die Set to cut out the pink kitties.
I assembled my card using red cardstock for the base and popped up the images with foam tape for some dimension! I added sparkling pink collars to the kitties with paper from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment.
For finishing touches on this card, I added a bit of glitter and a few sparkling sequins! Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Color Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products. Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Hope to see you there!
