Hi everyone and Happy New Year! A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today! It is a Color Challenge. The colors are Cinnamon Red, Lilac, Soft Pink, and Buttercream White. You have until Friday, January 30th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
To start this card I picked out the heart patterned papers for the background from the Lovely Hearts Paper Pad. I cut them out using the A2 Card Layout Die Set. I then used the same die set to cut out the white frame.
I stamped this gorgeous group of coffee cups from the Coffee Delights Stamp Set. I colored them with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.
Next, I used the smallest scalloped heart die from the Heart Frames Die Set to cut out a piece of red cardstock. I then stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set, onto the red heart and white heat embossed.
I assembled my card using red cardstock for the base and popped up the image and sentiment heart with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card, I added accents with a white gel pen, a bit of glitter, and a few sparkling sequins!
