Inky Paws Challenge #238 - Showers and Flowers Theme Challenge Week 3

 Hi everybody!  This is Week 3 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is Showers and Flowers Theme. You have until Friday, March 28th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out the pink striped paper I wanted to use for the background from the Pastel Basics Paper Pad.  I then cut it out using the scalloped frame die from the Frames and Flags Die Set.

I stamped out the gorgeous floral oval from the Spring Blooms Oval Stamp Set and cute pup from the Rainy Day Doxie Stamp Set.  I colored all of the images with copic markers, then cut out the floral image with a scalloped frame die from the Oval Frames Die Set, and used the Rainy Day Doxie Die Set to cut out the pup.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Rainy Day Doxie Stamp Set, in the center of the oval with black pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!

I assembled my card using green cardstock for the base.  I adhered the layers together, popping up the pup with foam tape for some dimension!
