Inky Paws Challenge #238 - Showers and Flowers Theme Challenge Week 4

 Hi everyone!  This is Week 4 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is Showers and Flowers Theme. You have until Friday, March 28th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out the tulip paper I wanted to use for the background from the Spring Blooms Paper Pad.  I then cut it out using the scalloped frame die from the Frames and Flags Die Set. 

I stamped these adorable images of Newton and the ducks from Newton's Rain Boots Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

To create the clouds, I cut a piece of smooth white cardstock using the Sky Borders Die Set, and blended on a little bit of Weathered Wood Distress Oxide Ink.  I then stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Rainy Day Stamp Set, directly onto the clouds with black pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!  

I assembled my card using a blue cardbase.  I popped up the images with foam tape for some dimension, and added in sparkling raindrops by die cutting light blue glitter paper using the Sky Scene Builder Die Set.
