Inky Paws Challenge #238 - Showers and Flowers Theme Challenge Week 2

 Hi everyone!  This is Week 2 of Inky Paws Challenge!  It is Showers and Flowers Theme. You have until Friday, March 28th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out the papers I wanted to use from the Spring Blooms Paper Pad.  I used the scalloped frame die from the Frames Squared Die Set to cut the yellow plaid paper, and the second largest die in the Hexagon Frames Die Set to cut the flower patterned paper.  

Next, I stamped this gorgeous image from the Loads of Blooms Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating die set.  

I used the stitched fishtail banner die from the Banner Trio Die Set to cut a piece of green cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Spring Roundabout, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card, cutting a piece of green cardstock with the largest die in the Frames Squared Die Set, for my base.  I adhered all of the layers together and popped up the image and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card, I added accents with a white gel pen, a little glitter, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Showers and Flowers Theme Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!
