Hi everyone! This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post! It is a Color Challenge. The colors are Candy Red, Cream, Cocoa Brown, and Pewter Gray. You have until Friday, January 14th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
I decided to create two bookmarks because I thought these colors were perfect for a vintage book look! I started by die cutting the two bookmarks out of cream color cardstock using the new Bookmark Die Set. I then inked the edges of the bookmarks with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink.
Next, I stamped these super cute images from the new All Booked Up Stamp Set, colored them with Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating die set.
I die cut the paw and the sentiment using the Bookmark Die Set, and inked both with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink.
I adhered my images and sentiment directly onto the bookmarks, and finished them with brown and cream ribbon!
For finishing touches on my images I added accents with a white gel pen, and glossy accents to their cute little noses!
