House Mouse Designs Maraschino Mouse

 Hi everyone!  Today I am sharing a card I created for House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge #331 - Anything Goes with the option of New Beginnings.  This is a new stamp for me and I couldn't wait to color it!

I started this card by die cutting a piece of Copic friendly white paper with the stitched rectangle die in Newton's Nook Designs Frames and Flags die set.  I then stamped the absolutely adorable image of Mudpie getting into those cherries onto it, and colored the image with Copic markers. 

After I finished coloring, I decided on the gingham patterned paper.  I die cut it with the scalloped rectangle die, also from NND Frames and Flags die set.  I then mounted my card onto a red cardbase, and added the twine bow.  

Copic colors used for Mudpie:

• Fur - E21, E23, E25
• Skin - E50, E51
• Ears, Nose, Cheeks - E93

Cherries:

• R05, R24, R46, R39, N2
• Stems - R29, R37

Jar:

• B0000, B000, B00

Label:

• B21, B23, B24

Shadows:

• N1, N2, N3, N4

I used a gold marker pen on the lettering and accent on the label.

To finish up this card I added a few sparkling iridescent crystals and glossy accents to the jar, and Mudpie's nose and tongue!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!
