Inky Paws Challenge - Color Challenge Week 2

 Hi everybody!  This is Week 2 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Color Challenge.  The colors are Cherry Red, Dreamy Turquoise, Buttery Brown, and White.  You have until Friday, January 31st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out the paper I wanted to use for the background from the Lovely Hearts Paper Pad and cut it to A2 size.

Next, I used the Charming Hearts Frame Die to cut out the turquoise frame and hearts.  I used the same die to cut out red glitter and white glitter paper to fill in some of the hearts.

I used the XOXO die from the Valentine Word Trio Die Set for the sentiment.  I die cut it three times, using turquoise for the rectangle, red glitter paper for the X's, and white glitter paper for the O's.

I then assembled my card adhering all the pieces together with glue.  This card is a little different for me since I used all dies and did not color, but it was a lot of fun to make.  It is nice and easy if you need a quick Valentine card!

Inky Paws Challenge - Color Challenge Week 1

  Hi everybody and Happy New Year!  This is Week 1 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Color Challenge.  The colors are Cherry Red, Dreamy Turquoise, Buttery Brown, and White.  You have until Friday, January 31st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I used the Bokeh Balloons Stencil Set with Distress Oxide Inks Tumbled Glass and Candied Apple on smooth white cardstock.  I then cut the cardstock with the A2 Card Layout Die Set.  I also cut a piece of kraft paper with the same die set to create the windows.

Next, I stamped this super cute image of Newton and the chocolate chip cookies from Newton's Cookie Jar Stamp Set.  I stamped the party hat from Newton's Cupcake Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers, and cut them out using their coordinating die sets. 

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Puppy's Cookie Jar Stamp Set, directly onto the cookie jar in black pigment ink.  

I assembled my card using a turquoise cardbase, and popped up the images with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge - Year End Cards Theme Week 3

 Hi everybody!  This is Week 3 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is Year End Cards Theme.  You have until Friday, December 20th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

I started this card by picking out the patterned paper I wanted to use for my background from the Canine Christmas Paper Pad.  I then used the large postage stamp die from the Framework Die Set to cut it out.

Next, I stamped this adorable image from the Dog Christmas Tree Stamp Set.  I colored it with copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Dog Christmas Tree Stamp Set, onto green cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then fussy cut around the sentiment.

I assembled my card using a green cardbase, and popped up the image and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension.

Inky Paws Challenge - Year End Cards Theme Week 2

 Hi everybody!  This is Week 2 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is Year End Cards Theme.  You have until Friday, December 20th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out this gorgeous patterned paper I wanted to use for the background from the Christmas Time Paper Pad.  I then die cut a piece of green cardstock using the A2 Card Layout 2 Die to create the window frames.  

I stamped out these super cute images from the Christmas Coffees Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.  

Next, I stamped the sentiments, which are from the Christmas Coffees Stamp Set, onto green cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then fussy cut around the sentiments.  

I assembled my card popping up the window frames, sentiments, and images with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge - Year End Cards Theme Week 1

I stamped out this gorgeous image from the Holiday Haul Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Holiday Haul Stamp Set, onto a piece of red cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then fussy cut around the sentiment.

I assembled my card using a red cardbase, and popped up the image and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

 Hi everybody!  This is Week 4 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, November 29th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I die cut a piece of patterned paper from the Canine Christmas Paper Pad using the scalloped frame die from the Framework Die Set.

Next, I stamped out this adorable image from the Wreath Pups Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Wreath Pups Stamps Set, onto a piece of green cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then fussy cut around the sentiment.

Next, I cut a strip of paw print patterned paper from the Canine Christmas Paper Pad to match the sketch, then assembled my card using a green cardbase.  I popped up the image and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge - Sketch Challenge Week 3

 Hi everybody!  This is Week 3 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, November 29th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I die cut a piece of kraft cardstock using the scalloped frame die from the Framework Die Set.  I then used the Tree Rings Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Vintage Photo to create the background.

Next, I stamped out this super cute image of Newton and the leaves from the Paw-tumn Newton Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Paw-tumn Newton Stamp Set, onto a piece of brown cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then fussy cut around the sentiment.

Next, I cut a strip of orange paper to match the sketch, then assembled my card using a brown cardbase.  I popped up the main image and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!
