Inky Paws Challenge #250 - Spring Has Sprung Theme Week 3

 Hi everybody!  This is Week 3 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is Spring Has Sprung Theme.  You have until Friday, March 27th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out this beautiful tulip patterned paper I wanted to use for the background from the Spring Blooms Paper Pad and cut it to A2 size.  I then die cut a piece of lime green cardstock using the largest tag die in the Essential Tags Die Set.

I stamped this gorgeous image from Newton's Rain Boots Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Spring Roundabout, directly onto the tag and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card using lime green cardstock for the base and popped up the image with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, a bit of glitter, glossy accents on Newton's cute little nose, a few sparkling sequins, and a pink bow to the tag!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project with a Spring Has Sprung Theme using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

Inky Paws Challenge #250 - Spring Has Sprung Theme Week 2

 Hi everyone!  This is Week 2 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is Spring Has Sprung Theme.  You have until Friday, March 27th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out the paper I wanted to use for my background from the Springtime Paper Pad.  I die cut the butterfly patterned paper using the scalloped frame die from the Frames and Flags Die Set and used the banner die from the Basic Frames Die Set to cut out the cloud paper.

I then stamped these gorgeous images from the Spring Haul Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Spring Haul Stamp Set, onto gray cardstock and white heat bossed.  I then fussy cut around the sentiment.  

I assembled my card using gray cardstock for the base, popping up the images and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #250 - Spring Has Sprung Theme Week 1

 Hi everyone!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  It is Spring Has Sprung Theme.  You have until Friday, March 27th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out the tulip paper for my background from the Springtime Paper Pad and die cut it using the A2 Card Layout 2 Die.  I then cut a piece of kraft paper with the same die, creating the frame.

I stamped this adorable bunny and lamb image from the Spring Pile Up Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.  I then stamped the smaller bunny image from the Easter Postage Sampler Stamp Set, colored it, and cut it out with it's coordinating die as well.

Next, I used the smallest rectangle die from the Essential Tags Die Set to cut out a piece of dark kraft paper.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Spring Pile Up Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card using dark kraft paper for the base, popping up the kraft frame, images, and sentiment tag with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #249 - Sketch Challenge Week 4

 Hi everyone!  This is Week 4 of the February Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, February 27th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out the papers I wanted to use from A Dog's Life Paper Pad.  This card measures 5" x 6.5".  The polka dot paper is cut to 5" x 3", the paw prints and hearts paper is cut to 3" x 3" and the tennis ball pattern paper is cut to 2.75" x 1.75".  The yellow paper is all cut to one quarter inch larger on each side to create a border around the patterned papers.

I stamped this super cute pup and his hat from the Lucky Dog Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.  I then used green ink to stamp the horseshoe image and cut it out with its coordinating die as well.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Lucky Dog Stamp Set, onto green cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then fussy cut around the sentiment.

I assembled my card according to the sketch, using green cardstock for the base, and popped up the images and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

To start this card I picked out the papers I wanted to use from the Pastel Basics Paper Pad.  This card measures 5" x 6.5".  The pink gingham paper is cut to 5" x 3", the purple polka dot paper is cut to 3" x 3" and the yellow striped paper is cut to 2.75" x 1.75".  The white paper is all cut to one quarter inch larger on each side to create a border around the patterned papers.

I stamped this beautiful image from the Cherry Blossoms Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I cut a piece of teal cardstock using one of the tag dies from the Frames and Tags Die Set.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Cherry Blossoms Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card according to the sketch, using teal cardstock for the base, and popping up the image with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #249 - Sketch Challenge Week 2

 Hi everyone!  This is Week 2 of the February Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, February 27th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out the papers I wanted to use from the Farmyard Paper Pad.  This card measures 5" x 6.5".  The barn paper is cut to 5" x 3", the cow paper is cut to 3" x 3" and the black and white cow pattern paper is cut to 2.75" x 1.75".  The yellow glitter paper is all cut to one quarter inch larger on each side to create a border around the patterned papers and is from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment.  

I stamped this adorable cow image and hay from the Moo Stamp Set. I colored the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I cut a piece of red cardstock using the fishtail banner die from the Frames and Flags Die Set.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Moo Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card according to the sketch, using red cardstock for the base, and popped up the images with foam tape for some dimension!

To start this card I picked out the papers I wanted to use from the Birthday Party Paper Pad.  This card measures 5" x 6.5".  The balloon paper is cut to 5" x 3", the party hat paper is cut to 3" x 3" and the confetti paper is cut to 2.75" x 1.75".  The lime colored papers are all cut to one quarter inch larger on each side to create a border around the patterned papers.  

I stamped this super cute image of the kitties and their tower of ice cream cones from Newton's Birthday Delights Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Birthday Delights Stamp Set, onto blue cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then fussy cut around the sentiment.

I assembled my card according to the sketch and popped up the image and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!
