Inky Paws Challenge #248 - Color Challenge Week 4

 Hi everyone!  This is Week 4 of the January Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Color Challenge.  The colors are Cinnamon Red, Lilac, Soft Pink, and Buttercream White.  You have until Friday, January 30th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out the paper I wanted to use for the background from the Lovely Hearts Paper Pad. I cut it out using the Fractured Card Layout Die and used the same die to cut out the red frame.  

Next, I stamped this super cute image from the Oink Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

I die cut a piece of white cardstock using the "XOXO" banner from the Valentine Word Trio Die Set.  I then used the same die to cut a piece of pink glitter cardstock from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment to create the sparkling "XOXO" sentiment.

I assembled my card using red cardstock for the base and popped up the image with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #248 - Color Challenge Week 3

 Hi everyone!  This is Week 3 of the January Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Color Challenge.  The colors are Cinnamon Red, Lilac, Soft Pink, and Buttercream White.  You have until Friday, January 30th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out the purple glitter paper I wanted to use from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment.  I then used the Filigree Oval Frame Die Set to cut a piece of white cardstock and adhered it to the purple glitter paper to create this gorgeous background!

I stamped out this super cute image from Newton's Bright Birthday Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.  

Next, I used a small banner die from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set to cut out a piece of light purple cardstock for the sentiment.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Bright Birthday Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.  

I assembled my card using light purple cardstock for the base and popped up the image and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #248 - Color Challenge Week 2

 Hi everybody!  This is Week 2 of the January Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Color Challenge.  The colors are Cinnamon Red, Lilac, Soft Pink, and Buttercream White.  You have until Friday, January 30th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out the envelope patterned paper for the background from the Love and Meows Paper Pad and cut it to A2 size.  I then cut out the red frame using the A2 Card Layout 2 Die.

I stamped these super cute images from the Valentine Postage Sampler, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.  I then used a couple of dies from the Cat Silhouettes Die Set to cut out the pink kitties.

I assembled my card using red cardstock for the base and popped up the images with foam tape for some dimension!  I added sparkling pink collars to the kitties with paper from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment.

Inky Paws Challenge #248 - Color Challenge Week 1

 Hi everyone and Happy New Year!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  It is a Color Challenge.  The colors are Cinnamon Red, Lilac, Soft Pink, and Buttercream White.  You have until Friday, January 30th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out the heart patterned papers for the background from the Lovely Hearts Paper Pad.  I cut them out using the A2 Card Layout Die Set.  I then used the same die set to cut out the white frame.

I stamped this gorgeous group of coffee cups from the Coffee Delights Stamp Set.  I colored them with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I used the smallest scalloped heart die from the Heart Frames Die Set to cut out a piece of red cardstock.  I then stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set, onto the red heart and white heat embossed.  

I assembled my card using red cardstock for the base and popped up the image and sentiment heart with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #247 - Holiday Sparkle and Shine Theme Week 3

 Hi everybody!  This is Week 3 of the December Inky Paws Challenge!  It is Holiday Sparkle and Shine Theme.  You have until Friday, December 19th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out the paper I wanted to use for my background from the Christmas Party Paper Pad.  I then chose the green glitter cardstock from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment and die cut the window frames using the A2 Card Layout 2 Die.  

I stamped these adorable images from the Santa Paws Newton Stamp Set.  I colored them all with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

I then used the A2 Card Layout 2 Die to cut out the white squares on which I stamped the sentiments.  The sentiments are from the Santa Paws Newton Stamp Set.  I stamped them in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!

I assembled my card using green glitter cardstock from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment for the base, and popped up the windows and images with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #247 - Holiday Sparkle and Shine Theme Week 2

 Hi everybody!  This is Week 2 of the December Inky Paws Challenge!  It is Holiday Sparkle and Shine Theme.  You have until Friday, December 19th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out this gorgeous snowflake paper I wanted to use for my background from the Snow Flurries Paper Pad and cut it out using the large scalloped rectangle from the Frames and Flags Die Set.  I also chose this beautiful purple glitter paper, that matched perfectly, from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment.  I cut the glitter paper to 1 3/4" wide and used the scalloped rectangle die again to cut the outside edges.

I stamped the absolutely beautiful Snowflake Oval, and sentiment, onto blue cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then used the largest scalloped oval die in the Oval Frames Die Set to cut around the image.  

I assembled my card using blue cardstock for the base and popped up the oval with foam tape for some dimension!  I then added a cute white bow and a few sparkling sequins!

Inky Paws Challenge #247 - Holiday Sparkle and Shine Theme Week 1

To start this card I picked out the paper I wanted to use for my background from the Christmas Party Paper Pad and the green glitter paper from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment.  I then used the Card Layout 4 Die to cut out the patterned paper and green glitter border. 

Next, I stamped this adorable image from Newton's Christmas Tree Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating die set.  

I then used the small tag die from the Frames and Tags Die Set to cut out a piece of red cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Christmas Tree Stamp Set, onto the tag and white heat embossed. 

I assembled my card using red cardstock for the base and popped up the images and sentiment tag with foam tape for some dimension!
