Inky Paws Challenge #163 - Create a Tag Theme Reminder Post

 Hi everyone!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  You have until Friday, December 17th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  

To start these tags I used the Fancy Edges Tag Die Set to cut two tags out of kraft paper.  I then splattered the kraft tags with gold watercolor paint.  I used some of the wonderful papers from the Meowy Christmas Paper Pad for the tag hole reinforcements and the bottom of the tags.  

Next, I stamped out these super cute images from Newton's Holiday Mischief Stamp Set, colored them with Copic markers, and cut them out with the coordinating die set.  

I stamped the sentiments in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!  I then adhered the images with foam tape for some dimension, and tied red ribbon on the tags!

For finishing touches I added white gel pen accents, glitter with a glitter pen, glossy accents, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky using the Create a Tag Theme and your Newton's Nook Designs products!  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there! 

Inky Paws Challenge #163 - Create a Tag Theme

  Hi everybody!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  You have until Friday, December 17th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #163 - Create a Tag Theme.  These tags were so fun and easy to make!

I stamped out these adorable images from the Jolly Tags Stamp Set, and colored them with Copic markers. I cut them out using the Tags Times Two Die Set.  I love that die set because it not only cuts out your tag, but also the little hole for the ribbon!

I then stamped the "to: from:" wording, also from the Jolly Tags Stamp Set, and tied silver ribbon on the tags.  

For finishing touches I added accents with a white gel pen, Nuvo White Blizzard glitter drops, and glossy accents on their noses!  Now it's time to get your paws inky using the Create a Tag Theme and your Newton's Nook Designs products!  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

Special Delivery Tags

  Hi everyone!  I am up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today with four tags I created featuring the Special Delivery Stamp Set, Snowflake Flurries Stencil, and Candy Stripes Stencil.  

To start the tags I stamped out these gorgeous images from the Special Delivery Stamp Set, colored them with Copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.  

Next, I cut two tags out of smooth white cardstock on which I blended Distress Oxide Inks Salvaged Patina, Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, and Broken China.  I then splattered them with white paint.  After the paint had dried, I used the Snowflake Flurries Stencil with glitter paste for some sparkle!

I then die cut two tags from red cardstock, and used the Candy Stripes Stencil with gold ink for the background.  

I stamped the sentiments in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed them for some shine!  I adhered the images and sentiments to my tags with foam tape for some dimension!
