Hi everyone! A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today! It is a Color Challenge. The colors are Pool Blue, Tangerine, Sunny Yellow, and White. You have until Friday, July 31st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
To start this card I used the Confetti Stencil with smooth white cardstock and blended on Distress Oxide Inks Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade, and Salty Ocean. I then cut it out using the Card Layout 4 Die. I used the same die again to cut the frame using a piece of orange glitter cardstock from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment.
Next, I stamped out this super cute image of Newton and the party hat from the Newton Celebrates Stamp Set. I colored the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.
I then used the stitched fishtail banner die from the Banner Trio Die Set to cut a piece of blue cardstock. I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Newton Celebrates Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.
I assembled my card using blue cardstock for the base, and popped up the image and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension.
For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, glossy accents on Newton's nose, and a few sparkling sequins!
