Inky Paws Challenge #240 - Sketch Challenge Week 3

 Hi everybody!  This is Week 3 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, May 30th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out the papers I wanted to use from A Cat's Life Paper Pad. This is a 5" x 7" card, so I cut the green polka dot paper to 5" x 2 1/4" and the kitty patterned paper to 3 1/2" x 5 3/4".  I used a stitched circle die from the Circle Frames Die Set to cut out the paw print patterned paper.  

I stamped out this adorable image of Newton from the Newton Loves Boxes Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Newton Loves Boxes Stamp Set, onto brown cardstock with brown pigment ink, and clear heat embossed for some shine!  I fussy cut around the sentiment.

I assembled my card using a brown cardbase, and adhered the layers together to match the sketch. I popped up the image and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card, I added accents with a white gel pen, glossy accents on Newton's cute little nose, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Sketch Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!
