Inky Paws Challenge #240 - Sketch Challenge Week 2

 Hi everyone!  This is Week 2 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, May 30th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out the papers I wanted to use from the Birthday Meows Paper Pad.  This is a 5" x 7" card, so I cut the pink confetti paper to 5" x 2 1/4" and the Newton patterned paper to 3 1/2" x 5 3/4".  I used a stitched circle die from the Circle Frames Die Set to cut out the colorful polka dots paper.  

I stamped out this super cute image of Newton from the Newton Loves Cake Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers to match the paper, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Newton Loves Cake Stamp Set, onto light purple cardstock and white heat embossed.  I fussy cut around the sentiment.

I assembled my card using a light purple cardbase, and adhered the layers together to match the sketch. I popped up the image and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card, I added accents with a white gel pen, a tiny bit of glitter and glossy accents, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Sketch Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!
