Inky Paws Challenge #225 - Sketch Challenge Reminder Post

 Hi everybody!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #225 - Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, June 21st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

I started this card by die cutting a piece of blue cardstock with the scalloped frame die from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set.  I then used the Pawprints Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Faded Jeans to create the background.  I picked out a piece of patterned paper from A Cat's Life Paper Pad, and cut it to 2.5" wide and used the scalloped frame die to match the edging on the blue cardstock. 

Next, I stamped out the super cute Company of Cats image and used the Circle Frames Die Set to cut out a portion of that image, then colored it with copic markers.  I used a smaller circle die from the Circle Frames Die Set to cut out a piece of white cardstock that I wanted to use for the sentiment.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from Company of Cats, onto the piece of white cardstock in black pigment ink, and clear heat embossed for some shine!  I then used Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Ink again to ink around the sentiment.

I assembled my card, adhering the layers together, and popping up the sentiment circle with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card, I added accents with a white gel pen, a little glitter, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Sketch Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!
