Hi everyone! A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today! This is Inky Paws Challenge #220 - Polka Dot Theme. You have until Friday, April 12th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
I started this card by selecting the polka dot papers I wanted to use from the new Pastel Basics Paper Pad. I then die cut them all, and the light gray paper as well, using the new A2 Card Layout Die Set. I absolutely love this new die set!
Next, I stamped out this gorgeous Spring image from the Loads of Blooms Stamp Set. I colored the image with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.
I then used the fishtail banner die from the Banner Trio Die Set to cut out a gray sentiment banner. I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Spring Roundabout, onto the banner and white heat embossed.
I assembled my card using gray cardstock for the base. I popped up the image and sentiment banner using foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, a little bit of glitter, and a few sparkling sequins!
