Hi everybody! This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post! This is Inky Paws Challenge #219 - Sketch Challenge. You have until Friday, March 29th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
I started this card by cutting patterned papers from the Springtime Paper Pad and Spring Blooms Paper Pad to match the Sketch. I used a 5" x 7" gray cardbase, and cut the purple piece to 3" x 5", the multi-color butterfly piece to 2 1/4" x 6", the pink butterfly piece to 4 1/4" x 1 1/2", and the cloud piece to 2 1/2" x 3 3/4".
Next, I stamped these beautiful butterfly images from the Monarchs Stamp Set. I colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.
I used a fishtail banner die from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set, to cut out two gray sentiment banners. I stamped the sentiments, which are from the Monarchs Stamp Set, onto the banners and white heat embossed.
I assembled my card following the Sketch, and adhered the images and sentiments with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card I added glitter and a few sparkling sequins! Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Sketch Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products. Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Hope to see you there!
