Inky Paws Challenge #202 - Summer Lovin' Theme Reminder Post

  Hi everyone!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #202 - Summer Lovin' Theme.  You have until Friday, July 21st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  

I started this card by using the window frames die from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set to cut the ice cream patterned paper from the Summertime Paper Pad.  I like the ice cream images so much that I used that paper for the window frames, and for inside the windows as well.

Next, I stamped out these super cute images of Newton with his ice cream from Newton's Summer Treats Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

  

I used one of the banner dies from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set to cut the sentiment banner out of dark pink cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Summer Treats Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.  

I assembled my card, die cutting a dark pink stitched scalloped cardbase using the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set.  I used foam tape to pop up the window frames, images, and sentiment banner for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, glossy accents, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a Summer Lovin' Theme project using your Newton's Nook Designs products!  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!
