Inky Paws Challenge #198 - Sketch Challenge Reminder Post

  Hi everybody!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #198 - Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, May 26th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! 

For this sketch challenge I created a 5" x 6 1/2" card.  I started by choosing three different patterned papers from the Coffee House Stories Paper Pad.  I cut each strip to 3 1/4" x 1".  I then used the smallest scalloped oval die from the Oval Frames Die Set to cut a piece of kraft cardstock.  

I stamped this super cute image from the Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.  

I stamped the sentiment and coffee beans, which are from the Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set, directly onto the oval in brown pigment ink, and clear embossed for some shine!  

I assembled my card using brown cardstock for the base, and inked the edges with dark brown ink.  I used foam tape to pop up the oval for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, glossy accents to Newton's cute little nose, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Sketch Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!
