Hi everyone! I am up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today with this Christmas in July card that I created by combining the Monster Party and Beary Christmas Stamp Sets. I just love all of the cute little monsters in the Monster Party Stamp Set and really wanted to use one on a Christmas card!
To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock and used the Candy Stripes Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Candied Apple to create a holiday background.
Next, I stamped out this adorable monster from the Monster Party Stamp Set, colored him with Copic markers, and cut him out with the coordinating die set. I stamped the gifts, lights, and ornaments from the Beary Christmas Stamp Set, colored them, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.
Then, I die cut a piece of white cardstock and stamped the sentiment, which is from the Special Delivery Stamp Set, at the top in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!
I assembled my card using red glitter cardstock for the base, and adhered the layers together. I then used foam tape of varying thickness to pop up the images for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, and glossy accents! Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today! Be sure to visit the Pawsome Stamps online shop to pick up your favorite new stamp sets today!
