Joy to the Squirrel

Hi everyone!  Today I am excited to share a card I created using the new Mid-Century Modern #2 Stencil  and the Clarence Christmas Stamp Set, illustrated by Dustin Pike, for The Rabbit Hole Designs!

To start this card I cut a piece of smooth white cardstock to 5.75" x 3.25" and blended on Distress Oxide Inks Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass.  I then splattered the background with white paint.  After the paint had dried, I used the new Mid-Century Modern #2 Stencil to create a glittery snowflake background!  The Mid-Century Modern #2 Stencil is 4 layers, and I used Layer 1 with pearl white stencil butter, and layer 4 with glitter paste.  To complete the background, I die cut snowy hills out of white glitter paper!

Next, I stamped this super cute image of Clarence making a snow squirrel from the new Clarence Christmas Stamp Set, illustrated by Dustin Pike, colored it with Copic markers, and cut it out with the coordinating die set.

I die cut a dark blue sentiment banner, stamped the sentiment, which is from the Clarence Christmas Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card using dark blue cardstock for the base, and adhered the image and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

My card is very glittery so for finishing touches on my card I just added some white gel pen accents.  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!
