Inky Paws Challenge #148 - Thank You Theme

 Hi everyone!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  You have until Friday, May 21st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #148 - Thank You Theme.

I decided to make an easel card for my first card for this challenge!  I started this card by stamping the gorgeous floral image from NND Heartfelt Blooms stamp set in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed.  I stamped two of the same butterfly image from NND Monarchs stamp set in black pigment ink and clear embossed them as well.  I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.  I used the largest scalloped heart die in NND Heart Frames die set to cut out the floral image, and the Monarchs coordinating die set to cut out the butterflies.  

After deciding on the blue glitter cardstock for the background, I used the largest die in NND Heart Frames die set to cut out two blue glitter hearts.  I adhered the two butterflies together by the body only, bending the wing of the top butterfly forward to create dimension.  I then adhered the butterflies to my floral image, and my floral image to one of the blue glitter hearts.  

To create the easel, I used the largest die in NND Heart Frames die set to cut a folded card, leaving a little portion of the fold of the card at the top.  I adhered my second blue glitter heart to the inside of the card.  I used a banner die from NND Banner Trio die set to cut a piece of smooth white cardstock, stamped my sentiment from NND Heartfelt Blooms stamp set in Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink, inking the edges of the banner as well. I attached the sentiment piece to my card with foam tape.  Next, I folded the top of the card in half, and adhered the floral panel to the bottom half only, using the sentiment piece to hold the card open in an easel.

• Bright Yellow, Yellow, Lemon Yellow
• Light Carmine, Pink Flamingo
• Lilac, English Lavender
• Turquoise Green, Light Blue
• Pink, Peach Pink
• Purple
• Orange

Flower Centers:

• Yellow, Lemon Yellow
• Light Brown

Leaves:

• Light Green, Yellow Green

Berries:

• Pink Flamingo
