Believe Fairy Card

 Hi everyone!  I am so excited to share this card with you today!  I just love this fairy house, and it was super fun to color!  This card is for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes.

I already had an idea in my head of what I wanted this card to look like so I stamped out all of my images first.  I used two different stamp sets from Streamside Studios.  I used the awesome Fairy House Clear Stamp Set, and the Happy Fairy Clear Stamp Set.  I colored all of my images with Copic markers and fussy cut them out.  

Next, I used the third largest die in Waffle Flower's A7 Layers die set to cut out a piece of smooth white cardstock for the background, on which I blended Distress Oxide Inks Scattered Straw, Tattered Rose, and Milled Lavender.  I then splattered some gold watercolor onto my inked panel and set it aside to dry.  For the grass I used Lawn Fawn's Simple Grassy Hillsides die set, and adhered it directly to my background.  

For the cardbase I cut a piece of Kraft cardstock using the largest die in Waffle Flower's Lacy Layers 5 x 7 die set.  I then adhered my background panel to my cardbase with tape runner, and adhered all of my images with a combination of liquid glue, and foam tape for some dimension.

For the sentiment I decided on a black cardstock banner, which I die cut using the Quick Strips die set by Whimsy Stamps.  I gold heat embossed the "Believe" sentiment from Streamside Studios Fairy House Clear Stamp Set, and popped up the sentiment banner with foam tape.

If Friends Were Flowers I'd Pick You Gnome Card

 Hi everyone!  Today I am sharing a card I created for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes.  This gnome is so cute and I couldn't wait to color him!  He is larger stamp so next time I think I am going to try coloring him with my Zigs or Watercolors instead of Copics.  He uses a lot of ink!

This is a 5"x 7" card.  I used the largest stitched rectangle die in Waffle Flower's Lacy Layers 5x7 die set to cut a silver glitter cardbase.  I then used the largest scalloped die in that same set to cut a piece of Copic friendly white paper.  I stamped this super adorable Garden Gnome from Woodware Craft Collection, and colored him with Copic markers.  I cut teal cardstock to layer between my cardbase and colored panel.  I popped up the colored piece with foam tape for some dimension.  

I used a banner die from Newton's Nook Designs Frames and Flags die set to cut the banner for the sentiment.  I stamped the sentiment in black pigment ink, inked the edges of the banner in teal, and adhered it to my card with foam tape as well.
