Inky Paws Challenge #246 - Sketch Challenge Week 2

 Hi everyone!  This is Week 2 of the November Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, November 28th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out the patterned papers I wanted to use from the Christmas Time Paper Pad.  I die cut a piece of green cardstock using the large scalloped rectangle die from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set.  I cut the blue patterned paper with the largest tag die from the Essential Tags Die Set.  I then cut the plaid patterned paper to 2 1/4 inches wide and used the large scalloped rectangle die again from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set to cut the outside edges. 

I stamped this super cute truck image from the Holiday Haul Stamp Set. I colored it with copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I cut out a piece of white cardstock for the sentiment using the stitched fishtail banner die from the Frames and Flags Die Set.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Holiday Haul Stamp Set, in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!  I then inked the edges of the banner with Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink. 

I assembled my card according to the sketch, adding a red bow on the tag, and popping up the image and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card, I added accents with a white gel pen, a bit of glitter, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Sketch Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!
