Inky Paws Challenge #243 - Sketch Challenge Week 3

 Hi everyone!  This is Week 3 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, August 29th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out all of the papers I wanted to use for the background from the Farmyard Paper Pad.  I then used the Card Layout 4 Die to cut out the patterned papers and the kraft paper border. 

Next, I stamped out this cute rooster image from Cluck Stamp Set.  I colored him with copic markers and cut him out using the coordinating die set.  I then used the Tractor Die Set to make this adorable tractor, and used yellow glitter cardstock from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment for the yellow parts of the tractor.

I die cut a piece of white cardstock for the sentiment using a stitched circle from the Circle Frames Die Set.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Cluck Stamp Set, in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!  I then inked the edges of the circle with a little bit of brown ink.

I assembled my card using brown cardstock for the base and popped up the rooster and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added a few accents with a white gel pen!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Sketch Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!
