Inky Paws Challenge - Color Challenge Week 3

 Hi everybody!  This is the Monthly Inky Paws Challenge for October!  This is Week 3 of the Color Challenge.  The colors are Burnt Orange, Olive Green, Slate Gray, and Cream.  You have until Friday, November 1st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock using the zig zag frame from the Frames and Tags Die Set.  I then used the Pumpkin Patch Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Antique Linen to create a subtle background. Next, I used the frame with three windows die, also from the Frames and Tags Die Set, to cut out the gray window frames.

I then stamped out these adorable mice and leaves from the Autumn Mice Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Autumn Mice Stamp Set, onto a piece of gray cardstock and cream heat embossed.  I then fussy cut around the sentiment.

I assembled my card using a gray cardbase, and popped up the images and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card, I added accents with a white gel pen and a few sparking sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Color Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!
