Hi everyone! A this is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post! This is Inky Paws Challenge #229 - Birthday Theme. You have until Friday, August 16th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
I started this card by picking out the patterned paper I wanted to use from the Coffee House Stories Paper Pad. Then, I die cut the pieces using the A2 Card Layout Die Set. I also cut a piece of kraft paper for the center, and dark kraft paper for the window frames, using the same die.
Next, I stamped out this adorable image of Newton and the coffee cup from the Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set, and colored the images with copic markers. I then stamped the coffee beans and steam in brown pigment ink, and cut all of the images out using the coordinating die set.
I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton Loves Coffee, directly onto the kraft cardstock in brown pigment ink, and clear heat embossed for some shine.
I assembled my card using a brown cardbase, and popped up the images with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, and glossy accents on Newton's nose!
