Hi everybody! A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today! This is Inky Paws Challenge #227 - Color Challenge. The colors are Amethyst Purple, Fuchsia Pink, Sky Blue, and Sand Brown. You have until Friday, July 19th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock using the scalloped frame die from the Frames and Flags Die Set. I then used the Confetti Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, and Salty Ocean to create a colorful background!
I stamped out this super cute image of the kitties and cake, and the gift image, from Newton's Birthday Delights Stamp Set. I colored the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.
Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Birthday Delights Stamp Set, directly onto the background in black pigment ink, and clear heat embossed for some shine!
I assembled my card using purple cardstock for the base, and popped up the images with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card, I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, and a few sparkling sequins!
