Hi everyone! This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post! This is Inky Paws Challenge #220 - Polka Dot Theme. You have until Friday, April 12th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
I started this card by selecting the polka dot papers I wanted to use from the Autumn Paper Pad. I then die cut them using the new Frames and Tags Die Set and Basic Frames Die Set. I love both of these new die sets and couldn't wait to use them!
Next, I stamped out this super cute mouse image from the Garden Mice Stamp Set, and butterflies from Newton's Bird Bath. I colored all of the images with copic markers, and cut them out using their coordinating die sets.
I then used the fishtail banner die from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set to cut out a dark brown sentiment banner. I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Garden Mice Stamp Set, onto the banner and cream heat embossed.
I assembled my card using dark brown cardstock for the base. I popped up the images and sentiment banner using foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen and a little bit of glitter! Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a Polka Dot Theme project using your Newton's Nook Designs products! Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Hope to see you there!
