Hi everybody! A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today! This is Inky Paws Challenge #218 - Color Challenge. The colors are Violet, Lavender, Yellow, and White. You have until Friday, March 15th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock using the scalloped frame die in the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set. I used the Basketweave Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Mustard Seed to create the background.
I stamped out these super cute images of Newton from Newton's Easter Basket Stamp Set. I colored all of the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.
Next, I used the window die and one of the banner dies from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set to cut the window frames and a sentiment banner out of bright purple cardstock. I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Easter Basket Stamp Set and white heat embossed.
I assembled my card using purple cardstock for the base. I adhered the window frames, images, and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, a bit of glitter, and a few yellow sequins!
