Hi everybody! A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today! This is Inky Paws Challenge #213 - Sketch Challenge. You have until Friday, December 22nd to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
I started this card by picking out all of the papers I wanted to use and cutting them to size. The green cardbase is 6.5" x 5", the paw print patterned paper is from the Canine Christmas Paper Pad and measures 6" x 4.5", the argyle paper is from the same paper pad and measures 5.5" x 2.75", and the gold glitter strip measures 1.75" x 5".
Next, I stamped out this super adorable puppy image, Santa hat, and bone from the Christmas Puppies Stamp Set. I colored the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.
For the sentiment, I die cut a stitched oval from green cardstock using a die from the Oval Frames Die Set. I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Christmas Puppies Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.
I assembled my card adhering all of the layers together, and popped up the image and sentiment oval with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, glossy accents on the pup's nose, and a few sparkling sequins!
